I imagine we will find out when I finish lapping the Apogee 1U's and compare them to the MCW-60 in my loop. Time will tell. I'll know by later tomorrow. . .gotta head out to work today.Quote:

It's looking really good!
This works too, but all these cooling solutions completely eliminate the possibility of SLI, which really really sux.
http://www.antec.com/us/productDetai...?ProdID=75060#
my mobo does not support SLI and to be honest, I am not a fan of SLI anyway .. not enough support and not necessary on my 22" WS , single G80 does the job perfectly until something new comes out again :)Quote:

GOMF that antec thing is a no no!!! It SUCKS air out, and for people with non-WCing, its bad, because the fan would be acting against the fan on the card itself. Plus, that thing pumps only 15CFM at 30some dba, which really sucks, and it costs like 20 dollars.
Philly, where can you get those rectangle-looking sinks you put on the VRM chips? Or did you cut them from something?
***Edit, nvm, read in your other thread that you cut them with a dremel.

The airflow is quite good, disregarding the specs.
But I have not use them for over 1-1/2 years now because all my systems at home are SLI or Crossfire, whether I need them or not lol :) There is no space for crap like that lol
How I have mine....but have you tried to touch the RAMDAC sink.....you cant!Quote:
