OW yeh baby! I was right, I dont get why you guys think or assume this board will be 400 USD. Just wait and see, i ordered mine for 250euros(320USD)Wait till it gets listed elsewhere, and youll see it wont be that expensive.
Coolaler, m8 could you please test max FSB on a E6600 or something please :)

kentsfield 3.66g running quad SP2004 seems a little stable?:D

Does someone know if it is a bios problem or something else that is holding the FSB back on this board? The EVGA board seems to do well.:(
I would also like to know the max FSB on a core2 duo, any of them.
Thats the only thing thats holding me back from pre-ordering one right now, layout looks good, voltages look great, if the bios is anything like the AMD version (Crosshair) then its prolly got a great bios as well.
If you get the time, please test with a dual core.
Thank You in advance.
I just remembered that someone said that it was becasue of the quad core. For some reason I thought coolaler's first post was with a x6800 c2d. :slap:

it isn't a picture of asus ;)
I want MAX FSB
ok, noone else seems to have noticed a lot of things so I will just go ahead and say them
1) Coolaler, why does your Striker have only one set of heatpipes and not the double assembly in the retail pics and that other guy's photos?
for example, the heatpipe OVER THE ATX 12v plug is not present on coolalers board.
Did he have to remove it to fit his Tuniq?
2) Coolaers board has blue SATA plugs wheras the other guys has dark purple ones.
3) The voltage options are nice, but the mem timings available are the same as the eVGA
4) Why does Coolaler's have a piece of tissue paper over one of the ICs by his NB. and WHERE is The heatpipe assembly ?
5) The board does not appear to have digital VRM, im unsure though...the coils are RIO R27
6) The board appears to come retail with temp sensor equipment that can be connected via headers to the mobo itself ( retail bundle shot , top left )
If i had to guess why the differences, id say Engineering Sample vrs Retail boardQuote:

Very fine mobo and I was very impressed by the beautiful pics, but until now I did not see any "strong" overclock test.
Wich is the maximum FSB overclock for this mobo? The EVGA 680i mobo can run at 520-530 MHz FSB, and what about this?
I am very anxious to know the max FSB!
ditto!!Quote:
