What type of memory is that? Your sg says Micron 2x512 your running a 2Gb kit of something FAST. Nice benchie. This is the only area we AMD lovers still can claim victory and depart the field unscathed.
I can wait for Barcelona, and I have two FX 1207 processors and their heatsinks sitting in a box waiting for a L1N64 board.
I know it was a poor "qudcore" attempt especially from a company whom claimed Intel's Dual core weren' "real" dual cores but two cores "bolted" together. Well at least they got the dam things under one IHS and on the same socket, the pseudo Quad AMD came up with has the cores miles apart in latency terms.
Still it is a very powerful platform. And I will add two Barcelona quadcores when their prices drop a tad, for octo-core performance. I need a Spider logo.

I wonder how much AMD improved memory controller in Barcelona. If they managed to up efficiency to 90% then .... 20GB/s is in your range with this set of DIMMS :up: ...

this is with no vdimm mod 600mhz @ 1.9v so if you were to buy 8500 tracers with this board it will scale pretty good i will test @ 2.2v nextQuote:

everything setup and looking good so far . i was going to water cool the mosfets but the 8pin 12v got in the way but it works for one side, maybe ill move the connector to the underside of the board

also does any know to mod bios timmings not add them but change the default settings, because the problem im having is no clockgen program works yet for this board and when i try 300x10 with mem@800 div i get hanged boot.
now the problem is @ that speed the mem timings are way to tight for ddr 1200. mostly the mal and im guessing others too, what i need is a very loose memory timing bios that i can boot with then tighten up in windows with memset. ill be a guinea pig to try the bios.
also need to set drive strengths set to weak thank you

*UPDATE*
for those with a 4x4 mb theres a new way to overclock. if your like me and to go through the bios to test your cpu at different speeds today is a good day. i have stumbled on a way to overclock in windows by accident
1 set your max fsb in the bios ex. 330x7
2 boot up into windows
3 you should have ntune am2tools and systools installed. load all
ntune has a working clockgen for this mb but it cannot go higher than what you set in the bios.. so now where at 330x7 back down to about 250.
now with systools that alows you to change your multi to anything..so i change that to 10x now my system is running @2500mhz .. now back to ntune u then can clock up to the max fsb u set in the bios while running orthos to check for stability :up: p.s. you can also use ntune and memtest to tweak your rams if your trying to break records

now you can upclock.. and the max fsb you can load up windows with is the max fsb you can play with, even if yours is 250-300 you have 5-25x multis at your disposal
