nope , you can use any Catalyst , you just have to unzip some files to catalyst folder >> http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...8&postcount=11

Drivers off the cd were a no-go for me too.

Downloaded the (then current) 6.11's and the patch for it, will try the 6.12's when i get home today. Really wanted the omega drivers to work with this as they are much better than the catalysts IMO. Hopefully they'll release a version soon.

Stock cooler oc here of 660/2020 < 75* for me, 100% fan tho :/ that with a D805@4Ghz gave me 19,300 on 3dmark03.

Can't wait for my Xeon 3060 now, should have it paired with a Bad Axe by the end of the week so will report back an updated score then :)

Water cooling setup - X2L GPU + X2P CPU

Memory on this card is a 1ns module but this ram only can do 990MHz and nothing more :stick: I tried more vmem and still nothing.

Also, X1950XT works fine in Dongle less CrossFire, i have tested it,
but damn my 500W Fortron cant handle 2 cards.. it Runs only when CPU is @ default clock speed, but then scores are really bad because of the cpu limitation:p:

i have 2 x Sapphire X1950XT and E6700ES here on the table but i dont have PSU to run them, otherwise i would have really nice scores:rolleyes:

Decided to do a WinXp clean install, tweak it and do some scores with this system:

Cpu: 420x9 @ 1.45v
Mems: 420 - 4/4/4/4 @ 2.25v
GPU: 720/1020 @ 1.45/2.2v
All aircooled

I have to say that this isn't the max of the cpu because right now I'm using it 425x9 @ 1.50v

I'll give a try in a few weeks when, with |RickY| help we assemble the 775 kit on my home-made Single Stage.

Sry my noobish but Lod tweaks??? Hope you light me a little about it!

Have to say that I only instaled ATI driver from the Cd and used AtiTool to change speeds and voltages, nothing more.

Yeah I saw it, but I need the names of the timings (the order) or a biosfile to get them myself. I'll look for a bios file now.

both my X1950XT-s had 1.425v VCORE not 1.450v:p:
old post but still..
idle with stockcooler and fan auto = 47C
load with fan auto(max @ 50%) = 90C
OC to 700/2100 and fan @ 100% = 70C load with room temp @ 22C

and i can upload that bios file when i go home from work.. in ~3-4 hours or so
