Testing the Master Card for cold bug.....This Master is VERY OLD - one of the first ones I suppose (Gorillakos will tell us).....
So far so good......Unmoded can handle down to -50*C ATI tool reported.....Not bad....Let's move one now....:D

Under test with k|ngp|n's Tek-9 LN2/DI Container....It fit's PERFECT on ATI cards....:D :toast:

This card is one year old...and it was benching twice a day since april 3dmark2006 cause it was a demo on a system in a store..:D
The case had 80C all day(12hours was playing)....

So we have since april(april-may-june-july-august-september-october) 2 banches a day x 210days = 420 3dmarks2006 and thousands hours burning in the case....

it is The card with the bet burn in ever..:D

Finally after many cards..one without coldbug...:toast: :toast:

you know what im thinking... almost in every case ive tested pi 4:5 was always faster with a bit relaxed timmings than 1:1. Too bad i had some problems with the asus board

I doubt condensation will occur with LN2, its so cold water will freeze on contact with it. The cards might get a bit wet after the benchmark runs when the system is powered down, but if theres no power going thru the cards and theyre dried off well before the next run, all should be fine.

When you're at ln2/dry ice temps with low humidity everything frosts over instead of water forming. Frost is not conductive.

Looks sick Hipro! Is that a Dragon CPU pot or one of gorillakos's?

I didn't insulate it coz it was just for a "quick run" so as to find out the cold bug temp of the VGA......Just some minutes......
Of course afterwards you have to pull out the VGA and remove the container very fast coz your VGA will be filled with water when the container starts to raise it's temp again.....;)

It's a "Gorilla CPU pot".......:D

VGA's have "frequency bug" and they don't go above those frequencies (864/1143)......NOT on rams and NOT on cores too or else the score whould have been OVER 30000 marks+...... I bet that these VGA's could do almost 1100MHz on core and over 1350MHz+ on rams....... I can bench at 864MHz core with ONLY -15*C ...... So I have almost ANOTHER -80*C spare on each card and I don't have what to do with them..... :(

I'll see what can I do about it......IF ATI don't give us a "bugless bios" so as to flash them, I think that I'll unsolder their reference XTAL Oscilator which is 27MHz and replace it with another one of 30MHz or more so as to keep the multiplier of the cards as is and climb on higher frequencies......;)
