for what i´ve seen some L628A cloks around 3.6Ghz@1.45//1.50v

just got my P5w DH with Vdroop mod ( Thanks so much Jerome my reseller and all staff there for making that possible :clap: :clap: )

set in bios =1.45 v and 1.45v in windows :p:

actually running orthos @3.7 ghz which failed after few minutes even with 1.52 vcore !

I've just bought E6600 for my rig - L629Bxxx - and I've got same problem as Prelim - this CPU is freakin' hot !! At first attempt I run 3,6GHz (9x400) @ 1,35V at BIOS and it run perfectly stable but temps ar horrible :( Due to Core Temp at stock V and clock during Orthos it easily get to 70*, after OC IDLE temps are ~58 degrees !! IHS is almost perfect flat, I use Scythe Ninja+ - with E6300 running at 3,3GHz @ 1,45V LOAD temps were about 65* and 45* during IDLE operation :( WTF?!

4096MB DDR2 @ xxxxMHz
BFG 7900GTX
ThermalTake ToughPower 550W
all in AKASA Eclipse 62 case


PS. Forgive me my english - I'm kinda self-educated in this language :)

nobody knows surely what it is....but something is wrong with L629B, a friend of mine have the same tempetures issue using a Tuniq Tower :confused: :confused:

now I will check if my CPU throtles - if he do so I will try to find smth far better than my Scythe Ninja - but it will be difficult :( WC (that I hate :) ) or maybe Titan Amanda which in one review is performing great, far better than any other AC cooler and in another is only a bit better than TT BT :(
