I can boot the PC at 3.42 on air and browse the internet and convert AVI to dvd without any problems but is there anything you would suggest i use to test for stability ?
Thanks
Now that you have reached the max overclock with the stock voltage, its now time for the pin volt mod?Quote:

Think i'll save the pin volt mod until i refit my watercooling blocks :D
Also i don't like the price of conductive pens.
You should not need water cooling if you keep it below 180 FSB on the
1.45volt MOD.
Why don't you try to flash 775Dual-VSTA with the 4CoreDual-VSTA board bios?
What does the 4CoreDual-VSTA bios got that the 775Dual-VSTA does not have?Quote:

two thirds of the way down since bios 210.

On the Asrock website it stated that the 775Dual-VSTA 2.10 bios supported
4Core CPU’s, then they removed the reference but i think the bios still supports it. :fact:
If I had a 4Core CPU I would try it with the 2.10 Bios or flash it with the
4CoreDual-VSTA bios. :yepp:
Do you know where they sell 4CoreDual-VSTA boards outside China?
;)
The 4CoreDual-VSTA replaces the 775Dual-VSTA as of today.
ASRock proudly released 4CoreDual-VSTA based on VIA® PT880 Ultra, which supports Quad Core CPU!

You beat me too it i was just about to post that :)
I noticed that the Bios updates for the Qaud core have the same reason
for there updates as the dual core ?
It may be possible to bios flash the 775Dual-VSTA with the 4CoreDual-VSTA bios, once the support for the 775Dual-VSTA support stops or if you want to run the 4 Core CPU and the 2.10 bios does not work with it.Quote:

Does anyone have any updates to this motherboard with the release of the 2.4 bios? Any vcore adjustments?
My 775-vsta is on its way as I type this, but its too bad my e4300 is not even available yet:(

No Vcore adjustments on 2.4 bios.Quote:

That is pretty sweet that they have the e4300 there already. If only we had them here in... the heart of silicon valley, yah right.
But will the pencil mods wear off by time?
Thanks,

How much volts does my memory get when the DRAM Voltage i set to HIGH? My memory is a single module Kingston 667 512MB. I found out that 1T works with DDR2 only when there are 2 modules of memory. My friend bought 2x 512MB Super T 667 and it works on 1T.
I don’t know if the pencil volt mods wear off with time. I have not herd of it happening, guess you may have to google it to find out. SorryQuote:

I just read upon people who would perform the pencil mods, check out the resistance, put tape on top, re-check resistance again. This would take out the chance of graphite being blown away from the air circulation in the case.Quote:

Either way I will be getting one,
