Use a conductive pen and connect everything you see hahahaha
I've got one the first run boards 67.... GOAAY and all this talk is making me want to do something "bad". I'm really tempted to contact ASUS and tell em about some vague problem with data corruption on my SATA drives and a warm reboot issue with my mobo. Think they'll send me a "new" board or just check the board out, say nothing is wrong and give me back the same board?
What do y'all think?
If that works, let me know.. I want to do it :PQuote:

I´ve sold the old one for 210€, the new one cost me 207€, im happy ;)
Maybe tomorow i´ll post some Pics.
I´ve killed my P5W.... the fan of the NB was damadged...and then *bzzt*
where to get anm P5W in 20 hours? I´ve got to go on a Lan damn.
I recieved a 1.85 board last week. Its nothing to do with the GOXXX. Its a 68 series you need to look out for.
I've ordered another P5W-DH now, hopefully it'll turn up and be a 68xxx otherwise it'll be going back under the Distance Selling Act. :)
My current P5W-DH seems to crap out at 410 FSB regardless of vMCH, unless I am missing something obvious.
Mine is from www.rlsupplies.co.uk Based in UK
1 left in stock and its the 68MOAG / GOEAY 1.85 mch - Bios 1101 :woot:
Haha do I hedge my bets and order 2 extra boards? lolQuote:

Got a 68MOAG GOEAY which came with BIOS 1101 and 1,85V for vmch its confirmed :)
One important thing: The vcore (cpu) measuring points have changed. Where vcore was measured in previous versions now does not show any voltage...
My question now is: does vcore mode changed also???
Kyosen, can you check it please?
I checked the boards we've got right now, all serial numbers start with 68 - that's the ticket, yes?
Most certainly is :)
Check bios to be sure. Above 1001 I think
- Is over 1.65v 24/7 stable/okay, even with aftermarket air?
- Other than the higher MCH voltage, is there any difference in the new revision? Like, do they clock higher? Less vdroop?
Wow, I wish we had people like you in the UK :) Most of the retailers over here from what I can tell won't bother to give out any kind of information like that, or simply don't know what to look for!Quote:

But can -everyone- who has 1.85v selection available *PLEASE* post the date code that is shown on the motherboard PCB by the Asus logo?
Example: 0630, 0628, 0631, etc...
Almost positive this is the "Year/Week" of manufacture.
I think that's the key if you get a proper board, *NOT* any 67xxxx or 68xxxx or G0*AY crap.
Why I'm asking?
Because I just grabbed a 68M0AG / G0AAY board from Frys, and it has 0628 stamped on the PCB. Bios has 801, but I can't test the board as I have no CPU yet. Last part of the Serial# is lower than any other posted 68M0AG-- 112154
But i'm willing to bet that I will NOT have 1.85v.
eva has 67M0AG but (what date code?). That should tell you guys something...
*edit* eva didn't post that PCB stamp yet, I got it mixed up with another shot
From the few pictures people have posted, everyone with 1.85v has 0630 or 0631, but no data on newer or older.
0631 here
Ok thanks,
06/31 confirmed, need others...
(assume all 06/30's are from the screen shot at an above post),
But any 06/29's or especially 06/28's with 1.85v?
hmm good point. I just checked mine its 0621..old school :(
I might have to come back to Fry's see if those 67MAG does have 0630 stamped on the board. So is that the latest info we got from the 1.85vmch board; atleast 0630 stamped?
I don't know yet. :(
I don't have a CPU to test my 68M0AG/0628 board.
and I need to know what number is on eva's board as he's the only one with a 67M0AG, but his serial# is high for that one.
if its 0628 then maybe im in luck.
Because the other poster above, in Japan said that 6 is the year and 8 is the month, and if he's right, that means that 28th week could be either July or August, and I'm assuming that is the cutoff, but did 0628's make it or not? :( I just wish I had my C2E :(
I think eva's board is a special case. Wasnt it sent from Asus for memory testing purpose? The rest of the people who reported 68MAG does offer 1.85v. I think it's a good chance you have it, unless anyone with 68MAG who doesnt have it can prove me wrong.
I sold my 66 series mobo and ordered a 68 series mobo from Ben at TG's:toast: I couldn't bring myself to contact ASUS with some vague symptoms hoping to get an rma xchg for another (hopefully new revision) mobo. With my luck I would've gotten a repaired 65 series mobo:eek:Quote:
