I am dissapointed with the P5WDG2-WS Pro audio. It has the ADI 1988B instead of the Realtek which has DD and DTS...The non-Pro has this but the PRO doesn't, I really like the DTS / DD feature...

I have 5 HDD's, 4 * Seagate and 1 * Western Digital.
The board have 4 * ICH7 connectors which I want to use with the 4 * Seagate for a RAID 10.
The other Western Digital which I want use for the boot-hdd I connect to the EXT_SATA1 correct?

You can put PCI cards in PCI-X slots, but your PCI-X slots are now 33MHz if you do.
Edit to clarify: If you put one 33MHz card in one PCI-X slot, that whole bus is now 33MHz. Some boards have 2 PCI-X busses I think, but not a board like this with only 2 PCI-X slots.

About the CPU it says:
"If installing a dual-core CPU, connect the chassis fan cable to the CHA_FAN1 connector to ensure system stability."
How important is that?
Are you all having the CPU fan cable connected that way?

My CPU will be X6800.
What are your reasons for wanting the P5W64 vs the WS Pro?
Also, any better places to buy the WS Pro other than ewiz?

PCI-X is backwards compatible. So you can use the PCI-X slots for PCI cards.
The "X" stands for extended. I believe PCI-X was developed by several companies, including IBM and Hewlett-Packard. It's basically just a faster version of PCI.
