I tripple checked the spots. Even with a DMM. When i read the vdimm voltage it says about 3.3V but the board just won't boot.

using here an tft eizo L365 on dvi... any pixel is perfect clear. :p:
and i upload the pic in gif, jpg killed the red color so much.

measure the point without it connected, should reflect what you have vdimm set to in bios +/- .1v

I have some questions about this mod witch i couldn’t find an answer to in this topic.
1. Do you need to solder a wire to each dimm slot or do all the dimm slots get raised voltage if you solder it to 1 ?
2. Can you still measure the vdimm at pin7 even if you dint use that pin for soldering ( you probably can but i just want to be sure).

yes, all vdimm points raised...
i connect to this red-marked pin(s), which i can easyer connect... lots of choice

all red-dots are also contact blades like pin7 on upper side.
RIO figured it out and measured 3.44V in PIN7, but no startup then....:( May be som kind of OVP?

Nope it starts up without problems if I remove the mod.
Btw. its a Asus A8V s. 939 mobo...
is it possible that some mobos have overvolt protection of some kind ?

The only thing im "worried" about is that it doesnt track the vtt right on witch pin of the mem socket can u measure the vtt?

you can try make the wires longer and connect it together after post is complete. :D
(but try this not with running win, memtest86 is saver if crashed or unstable...)

you can find lots of little 4er resistor-arrays around the dimm-socket.
one side of the arrays are all connectet together with a bigger trace.
this is the vtt and measurepoint (to ground).
