we have a winner.
the greek reviews used 32bit vista ultimate -> so the scores are 32bit cinebench. ;)

Wow 2.8+ nb! This will be killin....
how long do you guys think the mosfetts and NB will hold up to such high frequencies?
Where are you guys seeing 2.8+ nb?
Trying slightly upping nb volts?
what are your nb volts hondaguy?
post 91 caveman
Thanks Crazydiamond...I didn't even noticed that thought they were both at 2.65.
Though unless that's at stock nb volts whih I find unlikely I'd be worried about blowing something...scary new territory this phenom II bring's just hope the performance is there to.
omg boom goes the board....
Deneb is awesome!! I think amd will soon make sub 10 second super pi.
Once the 945 hits with ddr3.
It can only get better for amd and fans. :D
Well on my 9850 i been using some form of 240-250 NB & HT link speed in all my overclocks on my A79A-S for about 5 months i got my Foxconn mother board the frist week it hit new egg . It still running good in fact i did a AOD stably test for a hour @ 3.3 mhz 1.63v the other night still running like champ .I been using these clock as my 24/7 for a bit now . Just could not see staying at 3.2 1.53v for .08 more over clock . PS i got my 9850 the frist week they came out on new egg so i been kicking the crap out of the thing for about a year now and it still running Great . The best thing that every happen to my 9850 was the SB750 chip.
I have been able to get almost 3000NB and 3000mhz Core. I didn't run any benches, just loaded into windows...( I am working OVER TIME)(supose to be working now...well I am watching files move lol) when I get done with these couple projects for work.. I will be back at the playing. Hopefully this next week.
Hey Hondaguy...I actually have a fighting chance this time LOL.. I had trouble catching you on the 9850 and 9950's I have...;)
ohhh well I still have a few more tricks to get this CPU/mobo for more.. NB is @ 1.45, not 1.5 anymore
NB @ 2926

what kind of performance loss can we see by running low ht with high nb?? is it a significant loss or is it unnoticable?
WOW!!! You have impressed me with your OC abilities a number of times HondaGuy... 2.9+ on the IMC is really awesome.
Based on my experience with the 9950 though, I'd be leary of pushing those kinds of v's on the NB... You really think that's safe? I'd hate to see ya kill that shiny new chip. :p:
Reguardless, killer clocks man!! L3 latencies blow away anything I've seen on the 9950 (hell, all caches for that matter:yepp:)
Could you run a Winrar or Wprime for us at those clocks?
Does the 940 show the same voltage effects as the 9950? IE: you get to a point where added v's show little improvement, like .1v only gives you another 50Mhz?
Very impressive results man! Can't wait to get my hands on one of these... :D
Maybe the chip Gods will smile on me for once, but I doubt it... You seem to have the Golden Ticket as far as hardware goes.... :ROTF:
I have booted to windows at 2.7+(nb) with my 9950.
I still think this speed must be easy for denebs.
ok then, i'll go for a 920 and try hardcore htt oc on a sb600 board to add to the discussion xD
2.8g NB is sufficient for 4ghz with the 920 without lowering the nb multi...
At 2.8 nb and 4ghz many yorkfield will drop dead easy...
Amazing clocks HondaGuy!
What is interesting is how CB10 responded to IMC/L3 cache speed bump:
CB Multi 15343 - NB 2652MHz
CB Multi 15518 - NB 2856MHz
So from 200MHz more on NB we are gaining 175 CB points
This is 1.14% better on an application which responds badly to NB clock scaling.
From my experience 3DMark 05/06 and most games responds much better to NB clock increase :)
@ HondaGuy: Am I right this is already under water? Whats highest clock then you can achieve??
