Carbon case is really awesome!
Hey man thats neat. Is it sticky backed vinyl? Or actual carbon panels? How easy is it scratch or come off, compared to normal paint?
tophertony:
it's vinyl,

nice and clean as allways my friend :)

New unit with Aspera compressor:

http://ld-phasechange.com/images/snollocer's_SS/5.jpg
Regards
please show side with condensor inlets
it looks the same with one inlet and outlet, you have to make the 90dgr bend your self. looks exactly as the rivacold condensers from the side or unseen condenser (cube).
I have a unit with almost identical, same compressor, same gas, but another condenser but with same capacity, holds a QX9650@461x9 1.525 Vcore@ ~-38*c measured with K-probe.
cheers
Tim
what type of controllers do you use now?
Eliwell EM300 Thermometer with NTC probe is that in the last pic if I'm right??
tim- thanks for the info but i actually was referring to which controller LD uses.
so the question still stands.
Hey,
little devil i think you forgot me:P you missed sending me the mounting with my gpu evap. could you send it please?
ill show some pics today of the unit ive done with moc :) ( autocascade )
@mike8913: Like Moc said; Eliwell EM300
@Xtasy: Sorry but I completely forgot, I will send it this week.

Hey LD,
its been silent for some time again... can you please get back to me on PM or MSN asap.
thanks.

And finished stronger unit: I really like that compressor, it is running way more silent than Electrolux MP14FB.

What compressor have you used?
Aspera NEK 2150GK.

Great Unit!
It handles 240w at the same temps like my NL11F unit handles 215w :)
Maybe you could pm or icq me what an upgrade costs. =)

wow..dude that thing looks incredible!!
Very nice work.
looks very nice, I like this carbon stylish,
Why not use black bolts for sidepanels and fit the hood as well? ;)
@tim: Because i'm still waiting for them.
Regards
aah, i thought you got them since you have black ones on fan mesh.
regards
Tim
They are different, those are for fans:)

Wow!!! Looks as good as, if not better than the higher priced PC cases that are manufactured by the big buck companies. Very nice work indeed
Just curious, what kind of pressures do you run when seeing 200 Watts of heat load?
Unit without case, it will be great for benching.

nice work with some super b quality [as usual] & one question .
You start from 200w showing the voltcraft wattage meter and after your uei dt-200 under the load .
at the last voltcraft pic you show us some 240w load but at the uei dt 200 photo under load the voltcraft [at the corner on the same pic] shows 180w.
@Athens[2004] on the last picture is power consumption of second unit without any load.
Best Regards

jeeze beutiful!
athens, nice find XD i would have never noticed that. I believe you however LD.
And LD, when did you get the flulke 52?
Regards
And 240W temps:
http://ld-phasechange.com/images/Norz's_SS/11.jpg
@teyber: I got it from USA.
Regards
Suction line is kind of short if this should be intended for benchmarking.
http://ld-phasechange.com/images/Pascal's_SS/6.jpg
Easter egg photo. 180W while claiming to be 240W load :)
@tiborr: Look that post: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=440
If it's problem that you don't belive me, i can make a video and you will see temps and load tester from 0W to 240W
Best Regards
You can start downloading, temps are even better with little tuning and that unit is the same as last time ;)
http://ld-phasechange.com/images/Norz's_SS/ss.WMV
Regards
that flex is proberbly enough. of course it depends on how you run it, with a 200mm high benchtable it's a bit short but i guess thats not the situation.
nice capacity and temps there LD :)
LittleDevil @ Thnx for the explanation , :) theres no need to open the Video , i believe you [ if I dont , I wouldnt ask you ;) ]
Idle temps are about -50°c, you can look video too;)
Regards
That isnt real carbon fiber is it? Looks like vinyl to me.
it's vinyl no question about it. LD has also mention that.
Superb work my friend  carbon look is very nice
Well done my friend.
Best regards,
DagoDuck
Hey littledevil, a "simple" question. Would it be possible to chrome the compressor? Would look so damn nice under some blue lightning in a silver V2100
case.
painted compressor means no warranty, but for sure, it's no problem to paint it with "chrome".
but i wouldn't recommend v2100, to small airflow true the front since you have the door in front. v2000 is a better choise.
regards
Tim
i don't think so. since the method to make the crome can cause issues for the sealing between electrical socket and shell.
if you want to make it "chrome" either paint it or polish it and clearcoat. to be honest, I would keep it black.
Course, I'm simply brainstorming a bit :)
You could chrome it if you make sure to cover the electrical plug with wax. And make sure you don't get acid in the compressor.
Nice Work
Nice work, clean and sleek.
:D
Thx LD....
Next stop for that nacked SS is Norway.
Cant wait to test it, i know it will perform good.
You are a true master in youre profession, be proud of it
--cheers--
Very well done. What kind of model is this compressor? :)
Looks like that one is going to be built to your same high standard !
I'm just curious. those condensers is rated for 700watts, and what rotarys do you use?
what loadtemps do you expect?
well I have to say, I'm very happy with the size of those rotary cases (i got two my self without the gauge and controller holes).. but it's enough space to build autocascade in there, and I will build one for my self (already in progress). might try that instead?
regards
Tim
It looks like a LG NJ282P R-407C or LG NJ236P R-407C compressor.
teyber:
it also depends on refrigerant ;)

the controller looks a bit crooked
It is not, just strange view.
regards
godmod, that was noticeable to me also. :D Could you make a few pictures from the inside, LittleDevil?
Do these SS units make a lot of noise?
Rotary unit is pretty loud, compressor is louder than fan.
NL11F units are quiet, we can say that fan on condensor is louder than compressor. ;)
Regards
Ok, finally after like 3 weeks, Norwegian Toll/customs released this package from LD.
I have been waiting, and waiting..lol
But, it was so worth the wait, the unit described in earlier posts here is simply awesome:D
LD has done a very good job in finetuneing this little SS.
Im goona use it for my Xeons (3060,3070 and X3220 quad)
From what i have tested so far, it seems like i can run my quad easy on 1.65vcore 2 cores, have not tested load on 4 cores yet, only fast wprime.
I have a G0 quad, possible they runs cooler than other not G0 chip.
Because i got good temps, almost too good, so i wanna test with another tempmeter before i give temps here. And run wprime and 3Dmark 06 cputest
Also mine C2D Xeon 3070@1,635vcore was flying under this SS.
Have a pic of a fast suicidescreen 2 hours ago, i was having no problem benching pi, pifast, wprime on 1,635vcore 1 and 2 cores enabled, only a few celcius different from 1-2 cores.
I need test some moore, and find the limit on this SS, so far its looking really good. Im very happy so far.
Thanks LD:cool:

do you run 507 or 402 in those units?
I see you keep pictures of naked men in your workspace. Is that your inspiration for the nice looking units you build?
LOL:D :D , my sistem put that calendar there, i didn't notice it before :ROTF: :ROTF:Quote:

when will you try something new? :p
How long is the capillary tube, which you used in the unit? Which diameter? Which pressures do you have? Static pressure? Refrigerant?
THX
Gas is R507, other specs are TOP secret :DQuote:
