San Diego 3700+ KAB7E 0547GPAW Superpi 1M at 3157MHz on air:

I'll try 3200MHz SPI 1M and optimize a little.
Impressive..
the 3700 are sandies right, arent the 57's also?
yup, and technically the single core opterons are too, but we call them venus :p:Quote:

Anyway, nice scores. Congrats :toast:
My San Diego 3700+ KAB7E 0547GPAW can easily get into Windows at 3200MHz on air. But it does not pass 1M yet.
Maybe I need to play more with memory settings and/or better cooling.
Cheers Monge :toast:
someone got a 2006 chip ?
I've found this : KACAE 0603DPAW batch # 0002
that must be a great chip! KACAE is smth new! go get it!
People...

WHAT THE HELL MEAN HECK & NT? :D
how about this SD 3700+...on my homemade vapochill (only R12, so temps go above 15 degrees on full load @1.6V vcore)...

that's the max stable with normal aircooling because this cpu don't like volts and high temps
Got a KAB2E 0549MPMV...also very nice chip:) prime with normal water, and the 1m with cold water.

@starostise
what mem controller?
what week/step?
batch #?
it's a KAB3E 0547 GPMWQuote:

can someone with the same batch (1377677L5) confirm this?
Hi
Anyone was playing with 3700+ KAB2E 0551DPMW ??
Regards
Peter
3700+@1,39v
CABHE0505EPMW
air cooled
screen
more than 8 hour's prime stable
wow there things are clocking there arse's off
Congrats to anyone whos killin it with these cpu's
excellent overclock. mind telling us where these KA3BE's are coming from guys? who has them?
i had overlooked this thread, very good stuff on here :woot:
this is my kab3e 0547gpmw

Nice OCs :).
Niuce Clocks Slayor.
Is your 0547GPMW an 1377677L50XXX or 137777L50XXXor 1377767L50XXx?
i bet for 1377777L50XXX :DQuote:

sweet - that is the cpu I plan to get too :rocker:
I was reading the ol' super pi mod thread today, and everyone had wicked times on SD's with vapo.. and I'm wondering if anyone would know off the top of their head if my chip will cold bug? It's KABYE 0536 GPMW.. How would I test it to see if it'll bug? I don't know anyone with a phase change..
Maybe it will, maybe it wont. YE chips are still light years better off than 2E etc. chips.Quote:

I was thnking about getting a DFI but I'm not sure if I would really know what to do. Im too lazy to take off my hsf and look at it to see what stepping it is. I will sometime though.
Hey guys what do you think of this 3700+ steping ? KAB2E 0538BPMW
My 0547GPAW a little better on WC now:
3100MHz prime95:
http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/4...2mhz2dm.th.jpg
3190MHz SPI 3190MHz:

Not optimized yet.
Cheers Monge
Could you guys help me? How are people getting 3000mhz+? I tried to go 255x11=2805 with 1.65 volts and it willn't even boot. Wtf is wrong? Is it my motherboard? I have the evga nforce 4 Sli motherboard.
Have ya checked all the obvious stuff like HTT multiplier, RAM settings etc etc?
Whats your full system spec? Decent PSU?
K
Whats the TDP and TCM of your chip? That should give us some clues.
http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com...topic.php?t=83
higher=better OC potential, although generally higher temps
Well here are my system specs
3700+ (duh)
evga nforce 4 Sli motherboard
1gb DDR400 cheap memory
evga 7800gt
480w thermaltake silent purepower (is the powersupply not good enough?)
Thats the main stuff.
Well the memory is on a divider running at 196mhz the timings are 3-3-3-8
I have the HTT multiplyer at 3 so thats not the problem. I havent tried it at 1 or 2 yet though.
Im not sure what you mean by TDP and TCM. Here is a screenshot of that program though
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...omeprogram.jpg
Honestly, I think it's your mobo. Have you tried using ClockGen to crank the clocks within Windows?Quote:

I'm kind've dissapointed right now.. just moved up from stock to a Freezer 64 Pro, was hoping to get a bit of a gain.. nothin' though.. I tried for 3.1ghz today, but no luck, instant bluescreen (was working with clockgen).. Not sure what caused it.. Temps were not great by any means, but were not terrible.. ~40C.. Voltage was enough to be 1m pi stable (not stable lol) at 3.0.. but, I'm scared to crank them up any higher.. they were at 1.525 + 110%.. Any suggestions?
Sorry to double post but....
Does anybody have infos about the KAB2E 0551UPAW ?
Thanks.
@ the amish kid: 36sec 1M spi is pretty bad at that speed i think.
i think the fault is in the memory. if its not capable of running cas 2.5 at 200mhz, then u got really to ask urself what crap u have sticked in the mobo.
for example, i managed to beat 32sec 1M spi out of a venice 3000+ 0523 with kingmax hc 2x512 @ 310 3-4-4-8 2T
cpu @ nearly 20°C
http://membres.lycos.fr/starostise/K...C_cpu-3521.PNG
it can do better :)
Wow! What cooling do you have on that thing?
i putted my dod, turned on then turned off to increase temp (coldbug)
i could not valid this score, too late, it has rebooted :(
Yeah I know, its kinda hard to afford all the best stuff when you are only 14. I have gotten the time down quite a bit now. It can run cas 2.5 at 200mhz just I wanted to make sure it wasnt my memory holding me back. Here's the best I can get thoughQuote:

I must have got a complete crap one. I can only get 2.8ghz with 1.65vcore. I havent took off my hsf to look at the stepping yet though.
CCBWE 0541XPMW
Is this good stepping and does it have coldbug ?
Sweet CPU, wish I had that one :(
amish kid I would say that your mobo is holding you back, but you could try a lower divider on the ram.
The single channel RAM is killing your performance. Time for better RAM. ;)
i have a 3700+ here, ill check it and see what she is
dualcore. can probably go down to -20°C. You can only find out yourself.Quote:

I'm kind of concerned with my temps actually.. Idles at 38C (23C ambient) on a Freezer 64 Pro.. I have an Ultra-D and I rotated the mounting clip on the freezer 64 so that the fan would blow horizontally as it's supposed to instead of up (from video card into psu).. However, the plastic mount that holds on the fan pushes against my memory, which I think is limiting my contact with the cpu.. this make sense to anybody? Should I rotate it back to the way it was? My temps are much higher that I saw in reviews and stuff before I got the cooler..
Edit: I rotated it.. temps are still around 38C idle.. Been running prime for a few minutes, and the load temps are only 43 - 45C.. so I guess that's not terrible.. less than 10C delta.. I wonder if it'll jump doing 3d tests, 'cause it's drawing air right off the top of my video card..

coldbug at 316 HTT for 0°C :stick:
hey i got a 3700+ KAB2E 0547DPCW. Is this a good catch?
i doesn't think so...
mhh, the 0547 weren't the best, but it should reach a substantial 2.8-2.9 with adequate cooling...
