To contribute please do the following:
* Set timings to 1T-2-2-2 (I run 1T-2-2-2-8-7-15, but that is just for reference)
* Find the max MEMTEST STABLE MHz at 3.1v, 3.2v, 3.3v, 3.4v, 3.5v, 3.6v.
* MEMTEST STABLE (for this thread) = 25+ loops of test #5
* Where possible... also give chip dates & PCB revision.
I got two sets of Speed Premiums, set one likes TheVolt alot. Set two not so much.
Set one: 250Mhz x10 1T 8,2,2,2,2.0 @ 3.5V memtest/3D stable (games for hours no issues) StressPrime stable @ 245Mhz.
3.0V needs 8,3,3,2.0 @ 205Mhz, 3.1V 8,2,2,2.0 to 215Mhz, 3.25V 8,2,2,2 @ 230Mhz, so the volt scaling is steep on this set. Also ONE stick likes DIMM1 rather than DIMM3. this plays into the fact the SP's aren't matched sets.
Set two: 245Mhz x 10 etc, etc, EXCEPT. With this set I get occasional system reboots, even if I down clock to 235 220 210. Passes memtest, 3D stable 245Mhz, StressPrime for hours 240mhz but gaming I get occasional reboots regardless of speed of timings. But so intermittent its tough to figure out much beyond it IS this set of ram doing it. Further burnin/testing to follow.
I sent back the RMA, hope the TMII is still out of stock when it arrives, Ill ask to switch to 2x SP sticks instead for added $. ($1 ;-)
Goal now, switch to water cooling and hope the Vcore circuit can supply the juice for 250x11. The CPU can definitely handle it, it actually runs 250x10.5 for 2625Mhz just fine on Air for anything short of StressPrime.
hey RAB* shoot me an email when you on i got somethin for ya bro:D

3.0V 240 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.1 and 3.2 doesnt help 250 2-2-2-8 #5 errors
has to be a board issue TEDY! :(
i'm thinking on changing for 64bits aswell... as i can't take real advantage of my sticks either... :(
board ?
3.3v 250 2-2-2-8 #5 25 loops OK
3.3v 255 2-2-2-8 #5 errors BURN IN here ?
3.4v 260 2-2-2-8 #5 28 errors in 4 pass then i stopped
3.5v 260 2-2-2-8 #5 few errors
What irritates me is that 1A4T runs well 240 on just 3.0v and later drops....
I'm pressuming this stick ( 3 more to test ) is capable doing around 270 with 3.6-3.7v but i'm affraid to put so much juice. Afterall i did burn my KHX3200/256 while pumping them 3.7-3.8 at 270 2-2-2-x...LOL
Any suggestions ??
after some "burning in" here're results:
3.0v 240 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.1v 245 2-2-2-8 250loops #5 ok
3.2v 250 2-2-2-8 30loops #5 ok
at 3.3v 255 ain't stable, it resets lol....will do more burning later.
Hi all, can the user of UTT on intel motherboard give more information about timings and parameters to set ? i test my 0503 AA4T 44D for hours but i can't do better than 210@ 3.2V 2/2/2/5 ...
lol TEDY, u used to have DFI nF2 didn't u? i thought u were on it... not on nF4! :p
my VX does 240 at 3.2 and 250 at 3.4 5-2-2-2
is it 3200 or 4000
Value VX 3200
2nd module
3.0v 240 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.1v 245 2-2-2-8 250loops #5 ok
3.2v 250 2-2-2-8 30loops #5 ok
3.3v 253 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.4v 257 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.5v 260 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
this 1A4T rocks at low voltage...it runs 200 2-2-2-8 at 2.5v :P
Nice memory you have there Teddy :toast:
Be interesting to see what you get with DC setup. Thanks for the info :D
thanks
3rd module does even a little better
3.0v 240 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.1v 246 2-2-2-8 250loops #5 ok
3.2v 251 2-2-2-8 30loops #5 ok
3.3v 254 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.4v 258 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.5v 262 2-2-2-8 25loops #5 ok
3.6v 265 2-2-2-8 50loops #5 ok
gonna try 270 at 3.7, is it safe ?
i have 120mm with zalman bracket over fan at full speed ....
I noticed it makes difference in terms of stability when vent spining at full or low speed....hehe
Nice stuff then... :up:Quote:

So does everyone agree that these sticks are no good?
I agree that i got the same problems with my Mushkin UTTs ;)
Have you tried any higher vdimm darkone414?
I got 267 2-2-2 so far at 3,5-3,6v, more volts won't help, even with 3,8v 270 will send me a lot of errors... May some burnin' do an speed improvement? :stick:
1st, if your modules run at stock speeds they are not BAD ;), you just weren't as lucky as some.Quote:

Don't RMA them if they're not faulty man, they perform up to the manufacturers spec and that's all you can expect.Quote:

3,4v -- 261 2-2-2
3,5v -- 265 2-2-2
3,6v -- 268 2-2-2
I'm so confused abut what happened with 3,2v, coz i was able to reach 250@3,2v so i don't know WTF was happening... :stick: Giving more volts wouldn't produce any better results, i'll try doing some additional burnin i'd done... 270 would be great... :p:

I only tested 3.3 volts on my voltmodded 9NDA3+, but 2x512 run 261, 2-2-2-8. The sticks are well balanced as when I switch slots, I get two #5 per loop. Due to the crapshoot it can be, these exceed my expectations. My target is the Anand review: 267 at 3.5-3.6 max on either the Epox or DFI NF4/NF3, and I think that is pretty much assured.
I was skeptical that 2x512 Winbond at 2-2-2- is 3D benchable much above 252, but I benched all four Marks last night at 261, as well as 255x11, 2-2-2-8 :woot:.
I've not bothered to check the sticks individually, nor have I used Tweaker to play with settings. At first I got two #5 errors every other loop at 261, but after benching 3D for two hours they ran clean, so look like the sticks burn in. I just cranked them up to 3.3 from the gitgo to see if they met specs.
The sticks are very stable and consistent. I think they will do 267 at 3.2-3.3 on the DFI NF3 board. Why? My 2x512 XMS3500 which eke out 252 @ 3.3 on the same 9NDA3+ hit 255 @ 3.22 on the DFI :slobber:.
nice going Clevor.... i think these new motherboards also aid in getting old and new BH-5 and UTT/VX higher clocks :)
I think so. I never tried 3.4 VDIMM on my Corsair before but I got the 2x512 XMS3500 to 256, 2-2-2-5 on the 9NDA3+! 257 nets 0/2 errors on successive loops, so it's climbing ;).Quote:

Weird your ram slowing down over time Tedy, I have no idea why. Perhaps your power supply is slowly dying on you, have you kept an eye on your 3.3/5/12V rails with good voltmeter to make sure the volts arent slipping?
Turn on your AC and freeze the room and test again, see if ambient temp can cause a shift back up in speed.
After the weirdness Ive seen with SPD roms, maybe you have a slow decay SPD rom. Check each stick SEPERATELY and see if the results still slip.
uwacke: room temp is nice 20-22°c, not really hot in here.....
Don't have voltmeter either :(

i do not see much Intel entries...esp for the OCZ Gold VX4000...anybody can provide me with some info? i am hoping to get a VX for my intel setup....my P4P800 E-Deluxe is able to provide 3.4Vdimm according to OCZ website with DDR Booster...can anybody confirm dat the VX4000 actually performs to specs which is 250Mhz @ 3.3Vdimm? on an Intel platform...juz fr info, i am using a 3.0E S478 dat has a max fsb of 267. I read many reviews on the VX4000, but all of it are tested on AMD S939 platform...i cant find any Intel platfrom reviews...
comapring to mushkin XP4000, it does not guarantee that it will perform to spec if one is NOT on AMD S939 platform...so kinda a headache for me...since i cant get much confirmation of the VX4000 either....even tho it did not mention anythin bout intel platform, except for NF2 ultra..
