i hope so, i missed the last two :(

When you started this contest, you made an agreement with everyone who entered to get them their prize once they won. And seriously? You're in college and in a fraternity, you're telling me you couldn't find time to go to the post office? What a load of BS.
I work a full-time job, run a website, and have a girlfriend (this is considered a job too) and I wouldn't give this same excuse.
lol don't let your gf find out you said that enjoy ;-)
who missed the part where I said the prizes are shipping this week? I already paid the bill.
If you think being in a fraternity and being an electrical engineering student isn't a big time commitment then you clearly don't know what your talking about (I have a girlfriend too...)
not sure why any of this has to do with other forums....
Not saying it isn't Ian, but that's still not justification for screwing people out of their prizes and trashing the company who sponsored it for you. If you couldn't handle it, you shouldm't have started it, simple as that.
And to say that your responsibilities made you too busy to go to the post office is like saying you didn't have time to eat or take a :banana::banana::banana:. It doesn't take long to go to a p.o., toss some things in a few free priority mail boxes and call it a day.
I know you're probably surprised that I'm being so harsh with you over this. And don't get me wrong, I like as you a person, but you need to stop defending yourself and just shut up and own up to your actions. Make it right, apologize and leave it at that.
Glad to see you posting again. Don't worry, you are not the only one who has an extremely busy life. The only thing you are lacking is balance in your life.
Anyway, I think you know better why we are highly disappointed in you. You created this contest with the prizes as promised, right. That is what attracted us to participate because we wanted to win the prizes for free. We took the time to be creative to post best funny pictures in hoping to win the prize. If it weren't for the prizes, then there would not many members willing to take their valuable time out of their busy schedule to do it for nothing.
It has been months since this contest ended. I mean, seriously, if you were one of us, how long could you be patient for the prize you deserved?
Finally, XtremeSystems is a business with many tech company and manufacturer relationships, so is Lamptron. You were hosting this competition under the name of XtremeSystems with Lamptron sponsoring in open section, where the world can view. We trusted you in the first place, so you should not try to damage the reputations of XtremeSystems and Lamptron over your "extremely busy" life.
I'm Sorry to all. :slapass: (me on the right)
The prizes really are shipped - all USPS so it'll be a few days before they arrive for most of you. I think international is officially 6 days but that could take longer.
Your word at the moment means little to me and the company. At this point after 6 months of no delivery's and no contact with the company regarding the matter we have marked the products as stolen unless you can PROVE otherwise without a reasonable doubt that you did indeed ship them. Judging by your previous posts claiming that you shipped them since November I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you cant. At any rate, the forums in which you post on have been notified should these products that we sent you have or do turn up in any classifieds section, since your association with Lamptron extended far beyond that of this forum alone.
My only hope is that the trash talking you have been doing blaming us in this matter hasn't spread farther then this thread. If any of you contest winners actually receive any products from Ian please notify me directly at my company email (robert@lamptron.com) or via PM.
As a competitor in this contest i would like to do "my share of spam"
1. Noone knows who gets what item (but i like surprises though)
2. Snipe actually never said he shipped the items so i think your just being rude a nd incorrect. He just said he WAS GOING to ship them
Im not on any side for this matter although i also took a lot of time to do some rounds (floating boat in the bath) and when people posted here that snipe left XS i thought i'd take my final wiewpoint, but now i got a PM from Snipe and i will wait how things end up...
Robert,
Josifek has a point when he says that I have never said I actually shipped the prizes until yesterday. I said I intended to but I always screwed up and didn't get it done. This time I am saying I actually have shipped (yesterday) I should be getting an email with tracking numbers today from home. I will keep all those receiving a prize as informed as I can.
Just spoke with my dad and he assured me that all the prizes have indeed shipped but he did not record all the tracking numbers. Enjoy your prizes guys! and once again, my deep apologies.
Lets just get this straightened out shall we? We want confirmation that the packages are either shipped or received from either end. So if anyone receives anything or you can come up with a copy of a receipt of shipping, ill be able to lift the report that the products were stolen.
I want to straighten things out with you. I did ship the packages. You can try to discredit me all you want but the fact is I have never lied about the packages actually being shipped from me to the prize winners.
I am owning up to it, I made mistakes in my life during the process of finishing the contest that resulted in me not being able to ship the prizes when I thought I would be able to. Whether it is a result of lack of funds or lack of time to pack and ship it just never came together.
I find it insulting that you would come into this discussion, never having been personally involved in this arrangement or personally involved with me, to declare yourself as a mediating party of the so called "stolen goods." It is one thing to act as an enforcer of the agreement without any prior involvement, it is another to come to me personally and find out the real situation and circumstances (via email, skype, MSN, Ventrilo, aim or gmail chat; all of which I am accessible through. Shoot me an email and I am perfectly happy to set up a phone call if you like.) If anything it is just as much Lamptron's error for not offering extra assistance in shipping and finishing out the contest as it is mine. As a company it is your job to stand by the promotions you align yourself with; While I know I made mistakes in the execution, you too are responsible for your reputation via assisting the follow-through of the agreement.
Right now I am making a major change in my life. I have reached the point where I am responsible for my actions as a singular party, becoming a true adult if you will (a learning process for everyone, no?); if I fail to uphold those responsibilities I am at fault. Likewise I hold those that I share responsibilities with to the same standard. In the event that one partner is having a problem following through on the arrangement the other partner should step up and lend assistance. In my opinion this is the way the world should work. (At least in the reference frame pertaining to my business relationships, clearly the world is not an ideal place as a whole)
It is regrettable that the partnership between Lamptron and I did not reach this level. I should have been more specific and calculated with the costs associated with the contest to Lamptron and it may have been better executed. If everything was predetermined (number of prizes, post contest shipping price arrangement to allow for international competitors, exact number of promotions leading to the Lamptron website) then I think we would have had less issues in the process.
All of this underscores the fact that deals in business should always be planned thoroughly and mutually agreed upon via contract. We as two parties did not enter into the proper circumstances as partners in the promotion.
In conclusion to my extremely long post, I believe that both Lamptron and I (hopefully) have learned a great deal from this experience. Things could have been done better by both of us and missteps could have been avoided. Communication is key in this resolve because without a solid link between both partners nothing can properly be accomplished.
None of this above text is meant to excuse my very poor execution personally. I have learned that much more planning is required to successfully run a contest like the one I put forth. I greatly regret my inaction and I can only ask for your (the contestants) acceptance of my sincerest apologies.
-Ian H
Your right about one thing, you do need to ask for forgiveness from these people you lied to. I find it stunning how you still try to pass the blame onto us (Lamptron) after being called out consistently over the past few days after I was notified that this was going on. Your capacity for lies and deceit knows no bounds. You make claims and insults for months trying to make your own faults appear to be our misdeeds against these people, then apologize for it, then go right back with the insults yet again, trying to claim that we are responsible for your actions. The fact of the matter is that you were emailed back in September, and you failed to respond to us at all. We find it equally insulting that you would make such claims against us behind our back after having sponsored you for this contest out of our own pockets. Im not sure what your statement about us being never personally involved in this arrangement means, seeing as how we had a large investment in this contest. You know damn well how immature it is to claim that "circumstances" were your reason for doing nothing to make the situation right, and trying to say that we should have contacted you while this was going on further proves your immaturity. You never once contacted anyone over the past 6 months of your procrastination.
On a side note, ill have you know, we still have no PROOF that you mailed anything.
Caught bang to rights with his fingers in the till yet every post from SNiiPE_DoGG in this thread over the last six months has been on the defensive with no hint of remorse or regard to the people that put faith and/or the money up front.
How this kid can roam from forum to forum with his lame excuses is beyond me
I got this today. (Sorry for the crap pic)
nice.good to see contest winners getting their prizes finally
P.S congrats to the winners:up:
I received my prize today. I am loving the faceplate. Great design.
Dead link removed.
Thanks for the contest and prizes, Ian and Lamptron! And thanks, Spawne32, for stepping in.
Awesome stuff! Happy to see people get their gear.
Congrats, guys!
Matter is now closed on the company end, glad to see everyone is getting the prizes. Feel free to visit our websites www.lamptron.com and stay tuned for new products on the horizon.
I can confirm that my FC4 arrived just today :)
I have received my prize as well.
Thank you Ian. I know this has been drug out far longer than anyone intended but thanks for sending out the stuff.
Confirming that the EK Supreme WB has arrived.
Many thanks to Lamptron and Ian :)
i got a prize!! very well packed also
http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/d...itled-0009.jpg
thanks snippe dogg and lamptron:clap:
I received a package as well, though it's not what I asked for... I got sent the Hummer, not the Fan-Atic... I guess I'll sell it as there's absolutely no green theme in my rig.
While I am sorry that the wrong prize was sent (I didnt pack them personally because I am at school) instead of selling the prize you could use your modding ability and replace the LEDs with blue ones or white ones on your own, learning in the process. Lamptron products are all very modder friendly :)
That was my plan - not sure where I can find good blue acrylic, but I can certainly get it cut here in the machine shop, on the CNC even, if I ask the right person. Not sure if it has colored LEDs or not, I guess I'll have to do some digging :)
I have received my FC4 today. :)
Thanks Ian!
P.S. When I first saw a newegg box (my FC4 was shipped in newegg box) when a postswoman brought my parcel, I thought - WoooooW! A present from newegg? (they dont ship in Georgia), but when I looked at the box and saw "Ian Hellmar" there, everything was clear - there was my gift there :)
