nice job on the p180 :toast:
Thanks for the compliments. And yes my fans are quiet, and I even have them hooked up to a fan controller for even more quietness. The heatsink does get enough airflow with my setup. My load temps have varried between 49C and 52C while running prime95. I say thats not bad :banana::banana::banana: a passive heatsink. And the rig will only be getting more powerful soon, as I plan on getting another 7800GTX in the future, and 2GB of RAM. I also have a new power supply on the way.Quote:

Hi,
After 13 days delay my Antec SOHO plusview1000 AMG case came.
It's quite good but if you could only slide the HD's in like the 5.25 inch devices would be great!
The Artic cooling freezer 64 made that installation quite difficult because the IDE/dvd cables kept on getting stuck in the fan.

on the pics the cables look much worsers as they really are. (much better than my old case)

How noisy is that 172mm fan at 12v ?
regards
the 172mm is very quiet, it's supposed to run at 24v... i think the 120mm zalman fan on the heatsink is the loudest one in my case... because i don't use the fan speed controller.Quote:

Well thats certainly a start :) Where possible, bundle your cables together (e.g., tie all your sata cables together, that way it will look like one big cable), that way it looks like there are less cables :woot:
Hiding cables behind the drive bays and/or motherboard tray can be effective too :p
hi i`m new here :) and first of all here is my pc, it`s nothin special. the pics are a bit old, now i did a bit on the cable management and added few things.

Oh my God. The internals of the Thermal rock Circle is EXACTLY the same as my TJ06. Down to the smallest details.
I see you took the rear 120mm fan clip off. Did you manage to fit the Karajan module in? Mine was a tight fit.
EDIT: Nevermind, I cant see it in the pictures, and by the looks of your Sig you have a SB Audigy 2ZS.
I didn't install it because of the fan clip.

My new rig is almost complete (it's running 24/7 with water cooling).
Still have to install LCD (+ temp probes + fans onto controller) and Pump 12v relay.

Is it me or does it seem like the 120mm Thermaltake fan in on backwards. Shouldn't it blow toward the CPU and not away?? I would think that you would better cool your CPU that way. Maybe its just me. LOL!!!
compression causes heat . therefore if you suck the air off and away from the hs you may yeild slightly better resultsQuote:

this is my first casemod (about 2years old)
its based on a restructured Chieftech chassis and featurers
-Interior white powder coating.
-Extensive cable management
-Custom blow holes and fan cones
-Stealthed 4Disk raid array in 3x5,25'' bays
-metallic semigloss automotive paintjob
a complete worklog can be found here
(lots of photos but the text is in Greek....)

This is my second project...
much quicker than the first
and with main a goal of clean looking silent system
it's based on a Compucase 6A19 (aka Heroichi)
-Custom Front 120mm blow hole and fan cone
-Modified front panel with new set of switches
-Full cable management and stealthing
-Complete Sound proofing
-Matte Black metallic paintjob
-metallic rice pattern interior floor mod
-Custom side window with transparent AMD logo
the complete worklog can be found here
unfortunately it's also in Greek but you can enjoy some pics
http://gallery.pimprig.com/data/504/medium/pimp2.jpg
last but not least comes my latest project: the MPC-01
in this third mod
i tried to do something a little different
than the clean looking tech-style cases i've done before
the project is based on an old Codegen server case
and you can find a complete worklog here
(with lots of pics & sketches and in English this time)
