under water. temps are 32*C idle 36*C under load.
not tested for stability yet.. just experimenting to see how high it will go..
mem is clocked @ 100 divider so the Chip is stable for everything just no performance gain.
@ Lestat, yeah, that's what I think I'm gonna do, I feel sorry for the people who buy their processors on eBay :D , seeing as they buy the bunk ones people like me sell, I was kind of hoping to get at least 2.8 out of the chip, and I don't want to go over 1.6vcore, I'm not as extreme as the rest of you guys, I could be called a mainstream overclocker, but at 1.6 I actually am able to get 2760, I guess maybe I should let it burn in some more, maybe it will get a wee work out while burning in the new VX.....

Went to V1.1 and as of lastnight I am stable (Memtest & Prime) @:

I know that my memory can do 227 w/2-3-2-5 1T timings, so I expect to see even greater gains. Running Prime right now @:

If it holds up there I will go to MemClock of 180 and let her rip.
I am a happy OC'er now!

p.s. Great Guide. Thought a Quoted plug wouldn't hurt ;)
@ Absolute_0.
Friend.
Their memory are TCCD or TCC5?
Excellent clocks.
Sincerely I congratulate it.
Until soon
After sending out over 100 emails, I've located some 517's in the great Canadian Frozen North
Specifically, 2 x 3000+ 0517APAW
Bought them both, however now I have to hire an Inuit and a Moose to go pick them up (I wasn't kidding about them being UP North), and hand them to Purolator since the store doesn't ship :stick:
They are $156USD a pop, but with the added cost of these extreme shipping methods, it bumps it up to ~$190. About the price of a 3200+, still worth it IMO, I'm sure you all agree too.
Anyways, should be here in about a week, I'll keep you posted :D
By the way, if the first one I open does 2.7Ghz at 1.4V-1.5V, I'm not even going to open the second one, and offer it to you guys! :toast:

I would suffer many indignities for a few more MHz :DQuote:

let see some memory and cpu benches,, lets see what she does..
3000+ 0522 cphw box cooling on dfi.
2720 snm, sp2004 stable @ 1,57vcore
2803 super pi 1mb @ 1,63vcore
That typo screwed up my average computation quite good :DQuote:

I've got a venice 0528 GPFW , when it hits 2700mhz , automatic reboot :(

quite dissapointed because this is the second time that I end up with a crap cpu.

well I got sp32 stable. Check the RAM speed and voltage - love the Redline!

Dont mind the SP32 time as I was multi-tasking
I also have this shot

3Ghz baby!
well..... considering redline 4000 is 3.4v at 250mhz i have a little bit of an issue with you running 263mhz at MUCH less than rated stock voltages.
im curious how your running that ram on a divider also since its a known fact that the redline hates dividers.

Edit: I updated the screenshot with my new mem settings.
wow i never knew the redlines didnt like dividers......Quote:

funny though the mushkin peeps helping me tweak these never mentioned anything about them not liking dividers....
Hey, we have the same stepping! Any tips on how to get it stable at 306x9? Mine isn't stable if I go higher than 300HTT.Quote:

BUT its very possible they acti differently with different motherboards since everything likes to run like a friggin dream on those DFI baords maybe they handle a divider better on the DFI Ultra series all i know is from reading here, mushkin forums and from my own experience with the redline.
hell they wouldnt even boot for me runnign stock speeds on a divider,,, :/
and lucky you with that 3200 you got a rare one that does 3ghz unless your phase changing or vapochill..
i got a total crap cpu 0515 APAW LBBLE wont even rung 2.65ghz stable without 1.7v
and now it wont even run 2.55ghz stable i dont need really high volts it just wont run 2.55 anymore has to be 2.5 or less.
but my mobo is dieing also so that may be the cause of everything....
