Some numbers from E8400, E0 stepping.

My numbers at 4100Ghz where I am running 24/7.

Vcore: 1.31
VTT: 1.40
Mch: 1.55

Note Vcore in CPU-Z, well it reports wrongly as it always has with this board.

First I loaded this baby at 4.0Ghz at STOCK voltage

Then I went for a suicide shot. Its not stable-bluescreens in testing with memory errors. I need better memory if I want to go higher, but I am sure this CPU would be able to do it.

Nice... First time in a long time i have ended up with a mobo that has a good upgrade cycle. Even if the updates come a little slow... very happy with abit's work

bit of a bump: one of my memory modules recently gave up and i'm looking for a good replacement; i've really been out of it for a while; i had a 2x1gb pc6400 4-4-4-12 set from cellshock... (it's going in for rma but might take a while and i'll re-use it in another rig) that is running 430 mhz 24/7 at those timings. I'm looking for something similar or better (but hopefully a lot cheaper then what i paid over a year ago :)) ; anyone know of a good combo with the quad gt ? (cpu is an e6600)

i can confirm that 2 e8400 e0 booted 4 ghz on stock vcore to windows on Abit ab9 Quadgt bios 17, and was superpi 1mb stable, i didnt go for orthos, cause it was just a sudden death try, but it is rock stable everything stock @ 3600 mhz , orthos blend priority 8, intel burn 10 runs passed, 8 hours 3dmark 2006 loop, with C1E and EIST working (some energy save during idle with the financial crysis on our hands:P). Still i have a problem with cpu temperature monitoring which under load is always 5c higher than the core temperature, and my core temperature are stuck on 42 and 39 minimum idle.

Hi. I've been running my quadgt really stable for over a year. Decided to go to q6600 g0 so i popped out the e6700 that i was running fine @3.4ghz with 8gig ram and dropped in the q6600. I forgot to reset cmos and powered up. The error code on the board I got was a c.c error code, but all of the cmos switches are fine. I did a cmos reset, but i still get the c.c error on bootup. It does however go to the abit boot screen, but when i hit delete to get into the bios nothing happens.

here is my setup as of now:

ab9 quadgt Bios 16
q6600 g0
8800 ultra
8 gig ram
thermaltake 850 toughpower.

can anyone help? I'm really in a bind here. thank you.

Is there any new bioses for this board that can make a q9xxx cpu work?
