Careful Sam. You are on overdrive. Is it the final sprint that motivates you. Maybe you could leave some of the last GPU WUs to others. Anyway you passed the 3 billion boinc points, and 4 million will not be reachable except if the HCC GPU project is extended by at least 40 days at todays rate. But who nows you may have other targets in mind.:yepp:
My goal is to try & pass neu-innova before hcc1 ends, which at my current output is 20 days away. Doubt I'll do it :shakes:. One days output now will take me 20 when it's just cpu :(
Just switch your GPUs to POEM or GPUGrid or whatever. There's several projects that use GPUs.
I'm in :)
WoW, Numbers start to fall brutally.

Looks like this will be my last day for eating pie. My main cruncher is empty and the 2nd fastest has only 900 units left in the que. Since I only have five machines with "real" cpu's, won't be putting up big numbers with just 34 total cores (8+8+6+6+6 AMD's). I was hoping to hit 50mil before the GPU tasks ran out but I did get into the top 100 WCG overall results returned, now I don't think I will make it into the top 100 (made it to 124th) overall unless they start up another GPU project. Anyway I will keep crunching away, although at a much reduced output. Bummer with seven 7970 gpu cores just sitting idle other than when I game. Sad to see the groups output numbers drop so fast.
I remember when 34 cores was enough to get pie around here. :) Might be again once the GPU work runs out ... at least until it comes back on a different project.
There are some other BOINC projects that could use a boost if you have the spare hardware! Here's the thread:

YUMMM !! My first ever taste of pie  A bit of Aussie flavour maybe ... pavlova with some macadamia nuts on top?
:party:It'll probably also be my last tho. My one GPU whittled its 7500-WU cache down to zero at 03:00UTC today, and my CPUs can't keep up with the XS Big Guns.
... BlindFreddie aka Rickjb
Congrats on two days of pie Rickjb

Seems we are back to basics. Hard to throttle down by a factor of 25.
Everybody is crawling now.
And the corporations, companies, institutions are back to the top.
It was a real pleasure to beat their thousands of machines with a few grands in GPU hardware.
Until next time !!!
WTF am I (Rickjb) doing still eating pie with just my 5-animal farm? Where's all the XS heavy metal gone?
COME BACK!! come back !! come back !! come back !! come back !! c-o-m-e b-a-a-a-a-c-k

Glad to see MM finally getting some pie.
Snow Crash and fallwind....
:yepp: Hope you like Strawberry Pie! :yepp:
:toast: :toast2:
Movieman wow!!. Some nitro in your engine. Can you tell us from were comes this boost?
Wow! I beat Movieman! What gives?
He doesn't seem to be very regular, does he?
Maybe he's still fine-tuning that fibre intake:
You need more, MM. Try psyllium husk and/or senna. :rofl:Quote:
Bluestang: At his age I'm guessing something with lots of fiber
Is that lemon pie I see?
Getting a bit warm around your part of the world Sam?
It's always 'warm' here with 26 gpu's flat out :D It was somewhat cooler here yesterday though, as I had a power outage while I was out, which resulted in 5 hrs downtime. :shakes:
Haha, no wonder with so many helpers I have now !
Oh my ! :shakes:
I do like pumpkin pie. Now I just need to figure out how to divide it into enough pieces for everyone.....
