It used to only be around 30%!
13M is sweet too!

so what about sky blue for 14 mill ???
We need to average 500,000 BOINC points every six hours to hit 14 million WCG. Not sure that will happen today. But I think we might still have a pretty good day.;)
Bank holiday on Monday here...hope that doesn't have any effect
I'm dying to see today's numbers!! Go go 100mil!!!!
I just got my idle i7 up and going today. Took longer than I wanted to get it right. it should help out some.

Nicely done!
Way to go, team.
Yayyyyyy
Going to take a minute to get on my soap box:
To any of you reading this that aren't involved or think your one machine won't make a difference I want you to think on this:
In the last week+ we've taken this team that was established and "solid" and gone from 7.2 mil a day to 14.2 mil a day.
Essentially doubled the output and why?
Because of people just like you.
Yes, some big players have gotten involved and God Bless them for doing so but it is the guys with 1-3 machines that make it happen.
Think on that and then come and help.
Thanks for reading.
14m!
We had almost 527,000 BOINC points in the final six hours of the WCG day. The late surge put us over 14 million. If the surge keeps building into tomorrow, 15 million is a very real possibility.
We would need to average around 536,000 BOINC points every six hours tonight and tomorrow to get to 15 million (WCG).
I remember the first day I joined a week or two ago, struggling to get 8 million PPD. Seeing us hit this now is amazing. One other thing I would like to say is being one of the smaller guys (1 Q6600 and 1 Athlon II x4 both not juts being dedicated crunchers) the reason I'm glad I joined this team, and not one of many others is the realization from the bigger names and faces that it isn't about competition between people, money, and material things it's about joining together to make something possible. Like a colony of ants, so small in stature alone, but together a dominating force.
I'm glad you said this.
To me this team is first about the people that are in it..Friends First is what I tend to say on those rare times when some tempers get heated.
We had a guy back on the Rosetta team a long, long time ago, pretty big player but he wasn't happy unless someone was patting him on the back daily.
That just doesn't work and we asked him to leave.
You say your one of the "smaller guys' but I kid you not that is what this is all about.
Take away the top 10 guys from this team and it's still a major force in what we do.
They have the resources to add more and do so but they to me are friends first and not just numbers.
The amount you bring is based on resources, THAT you bring what you have is based on your heart and that is so much more important.
IS it a bad thing for me to be curious about Movieman special call or a good thing ????
PM him your # and find out! I know I've had a couple and survived, how bad could it be? :p:
I've been chasing this guy up the team ladder: Gozilla1
Good 'ol fun.
You have a Q6600 running at 3.06GHz running 24/7 to pump in a bit more units into the project!
Weekend and i hit my personal best
1.9Mil Boinc credits/day any1?
http://boincstats.com/charts/chart_u...teams_8674.gif
2Mil is achieved soon
So far today is looking like 14.5+ million:up:
Crank 'em up!
Lol, I am not even in the top 1000 :D
On my way :p:
Looking forward for todays number its exciting :D to see it keeps going up and up andup...
Never think that way, everyone here is important to what we're doing..
One guy can house enough machinery to do 400-500K a day..
No one person can do millions..
That takes huge numbers of people.
I'd like to see us hit 100 million in a day this week.
That will take 38,500 P4-3000's or 7000 Q6600's at 3600mhz or????
We have just over 3400 machines on the project now.
How to get another 3500 good ones is the issue.
Actually more than that with the lag in validation..
Make it 5000 more just to be safe!:D
This is awesome :D
Got an I-7 950, Q9650 and my dual core lappy going. Just had a few beers with a mate and he's lent me a psu so I can get another quad going.
Easy news is going down..!!!

Since the massive hearing loss that has occured on this team we worked a special deal with Bell Tone for those FEW that have enough hearing left to be helped. :help:

BOINCstats is the place to go for all kinds of stats.
Todays mid day numbers..
Listed by todays high to low..
http://boincstats.com/stats/user_sta...o=&date=&or=12
33 on that list, too bad its not the "big list" but I am inching my way up.
It says the last update was at 16:04 so it's actually a couple hours short of 3/4 of a day. But your right it still seams a bit high.
dak1640 averages around 62,000/day. I know because I look at and compile the stats every day.
The numbers at Free-DC are probably closer to the mid-day results.
http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...bwcg&team=8674
Would be great if dak were doing 61,000 at the midway point. But that would mean 122,000 for the entire day or 854,000 WCG points. Maybe he fed his crunchers Wheaties today.:D
I just did a minor upgrade to my laptop. Threw a C2D T7200 2GHz Merom in my T60 laptop to replace the Core Duo T2400 1.86GHz Yonah. Not sure how much of a boost it will be.
Now all I need is an SXGA screen for it, a little more memory, and it will be perfect for my everyday laptop. Right now it just has the sucky XGA screen at 1024x768.
*edit* crap that T7200 is running at 77C
The team is on fire. We did 573,217 BOINC points during the most recent quarter-day update. I'm anticipating a very good final number today.:yepp:
Movieman and lkiller123,
Sorry, when reading up and up and up, I didn't mean more than what I said, litterally: points go up only. It's frustrating to see others catch up (well... they have more gear), but at the very least I'm not losing points for that matter. That would be frustrating indeed.
XtremeSystems 15,500,173
At this rate I can retire  Awesome job team!!!:up::up:
Thank you everyone for your contributions :clap::clap::clap::clap:
pulsar beat me to it! haha 15 mil guys!!! on a SUNDAY! tomorrow is going to be epic!
Other mentionable accomplishments:
We doubled Easynews in points and only 5 million short shy from Team 2ch. If we can match them I bet Dave will need a change in underwear :ROTF: Give that man a pair of depends ASAP :rofl::rofl:
With that score and it being a Sunday I cant wait to see tomorrows score...:up:
15.5M of Awesomeness = Team Xtremesystems
and on a weekend too!!!
amazing effort by one and all
15.5MMMIIILLLLLLLLLIIIIIOOOONNN!!!
This is what can happen when all of XtremeSystems comes together.
And im storing up a few results waiting to report on my fast machines :P
1.5500173 x 10^7
very well done. lets reach 16 on monday!
Holy Moly! Nice job, team!
We can not lose when we bring our David against their Goliath.
Terrific day, everyone. :toast:
Again, there was a surge in the later part of the day. If the surge continues tomorrow, 16 million should be a piece of cake.
Nice looking graph.
Wish my trading account looked like that
holy crap, that's a number I didn't expect to see
what if we got fugger to get the xs servers crunching?
We did 638,248 BOINC points in the most recent quarter-day period. That is HUGE. About a year ago, that's how many points we did in an entire day. This could be the mother of all days for us.:D
I came back from vacation to find that my main host, the quad core not logged in any longer...So it's now back online and contributing to the greater good!
It's funny to see the stats in Boincstats, compared to Easynews:
Credit /month: we've about 33% more than them; /week: almost 90% more; /day (today): a whopping 135% more points returned !!
Easynews is toast !, sooner or later - but that will be soon!
the very first posts of this thread got me wondering... if running a farm with no video cards in each system, couldn't you also disable/uninstall pci16x lanes in device manager via remote access and reduce power consumption, along with several other devices? I think it would need to be disabled in bios to actually not receive power though, right?
Or at least make sure PCI Express Link State Power Management is turned on in win7? Im assuming this affects the 16x lane as well?
Hey all.....
Just back from a long weekend testing road surfaces for traction in Wales :D
I'm pleased to report that all my crunchers have behaved themselves while I was away and are still online
I am also really pleased to see that some fantastic scores have been racked up over the last few days....
GO TEAM!!!

How many credits do we produce?
Whats the 15.5 million number refer to? Is that a day? Then what is the 2.3 Million number mean? ( i assume its day and week...except its saying 13 mil a week avg)
Whatever they mean, today was the highest ever for team XS
Best five days

holy sht team 2ch has 10k members...lol looks like XS it packing a huge punch per member
Why aren't the team stats updating? It's been 24 and a half hours now... Aren't they supposed to update them once every 24 hours? Are we overloading their servers with the results we're returning? ;)
The statistics update will finish in about 29 minutes 4 seconds.
It already started :yepp: Let's hope for some good numbers! Time to shut down my cruncher though :( can't sleep with it on in the same room as I'm sleeping. Ordered 50 euros worth of fans though. Should be here tomorrow.
I won't stop till this rig is quiet enough, so I can sleep 2 meters away from it, while it's punching nasty diseases in their faces :yepp:
