A quick question for those of you using this Arima quad socket board, does it support windows server 2008 R2?
It should in theory, but I haven't tried it. I'm planning on doing so when I get my heat sinks. Still haven't heard back from scan.
Once my pump is replaced I plan on trying it as well.
Yeah just plug the six pin pcie in backwards. Its fine. And in theory I don't think windows works on this board because of EFI. But I'm sure one of you guys can figure it out I have faith on you. Now hurry up and get these rigs online we've almost caught up with easynews!
2008 R2 supports EFI.
Cheers for clarifying that guys
Anarki, will you need some of those eps connectors I linked?
I can just add it to your bill
Also, was it ever confirmed if the board has onboard raid? Just curious is all.
I jumped back a few pages and found this:

So the board needs three 8pin EPS and one 6pin PCI-E connection? No 24pin ATX at all?
If that is the case then Kryja please add two 8pin adaptors to my bill :D
Also could someone please edit the very first post in this topic and put all the pictures of how to set up these monsters, so we don't have to go through all the pages. Many thanks.
I really need to hide from my gf now..

Boy I really had to get them, but now I'm stuck with two 8347. Well, I guess I can build a lil rig and sell it at shool if it looks pimp
Could always get one of these so they're not sitting idle;

Just got an e-mail with this deal if anyone still needs a PS (I do)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-17171036-L04B
$70 for 600W Single Rail
I've popped several Coolermaster power supplies that weren't even being stressed at the time. I don't trust them.
Wow and modular too. That's a pretty good deal
8347s work fine on the NM460 boards, as long as you have the current BIOS installed. I've generated a couple millions points on that exact setup.
pawmadsen also used a dual board which I think is the same one I linked :)

They arrived perfectly! :D
Just waiting on some heat sinks and I can have them up and running.
I get my CPU's today, but I have yet to get the ram I need..... hopefully soon!

Good news. Thanks to the generosity of a member I have another D5 that works :) It is leak testing at the moment, I'd like to get it powered up but I really should go to bed...
