Yes it is.....

All Intel 975X and 965 are Crossfire, so Badaxe2 is crossfire.

Currently at 400x9, with a 6600.......

Tony, please PM me the BIOS settings to get the FlexXLC 9200 to run over 600MHz on the RD600. Anything above 580MHz is giving me C1 error.

I'm so tempted to buy one of these, but I figure the price will go down, so I should wait, then I think maybe they're not gonna make a whole lot of them, and I may miss out... I guess I'll stick with my P5W for now.

(But I really want an RD600. D:)

It must run like this, I'm assuming that R600 CF doesn't need twin x16 slots like 8800 SLI does?

I'm waiting for some more results from users as well. It's really too early to jump with the commando and abit 680i around the corner

I don't know if the R600 in XF will requirer 2x x16 lanes to work or not.
But since AMD/ ATI next chipset will have 2x x16 lanes . It is possiable AMD could choose to make XF work with 2x x16lanes . AS NV has already done this with the G80's in sli. This would effectively freeeze Intel chipsets out of both the sli and XF markets G80's and the R600's. When is the next chipset do to be released for AMD processors? If they arrive at about the same time. Its a possiability. As I said Idon't know nor does anyone else.

But if I was AMD its what I would do. Since NV already done it. Not many would have much to grip about.

why would they want to kill the preowned market...better off to allow to work on X8 sli lanes at slight perofrmance than loose business..seems moronic not too IMHO

Gary has already stated that this board will work with the r600's in Crossfire unless something has changed in the most recent A14 spin that he doesn't know about.

With motherboard prices where they are & and latest graphic flagships costing over $600, that would make for a very expensive upgrade. Even more so if you want to run crossfire. This is why I have yet to upgrade my graphics.

I'm thinking, I"m gonna order one of these and see if I can make it work as NB HS replacement

this option unexist on my bios (last on dfi website) :confused:

I think option is "Conroe P-STATE Multipler" to change ratio.

Just a little thing I found;

if using 2gb in dual channel mode remember to change to channel a and b in the northbridge selection screen. AT times the board can default to single channel mode automatically if you don't do this...

excuse my noobie question..change it to what?

change from AUTO to channel A and B IIRC

Although i have auto set and no probs with dual channel mode sticking as it should on beta bioses but only started to retest with 12/22 official bios

anyone test this thing at 1t 1:1 with tight timings against 975 yet?

Thats all i care about.

Gotta love Newegg..my RD600 was set to step 3....then just checked it is at step 5= it has shipped...on a SUNDAY???!!!! which is why I could not cancel anymore

Well..I get 400fsb if my cpu will do it and I maybe slightly slower than 975 but the board is a DFI and generally rock stable(at least I hope like my SLI-DR) and looks great.. :woot:
