Sweet! I noticed this morning, it was something like 5,999,999,990.

Also wanted to add that we've processed and returned 11,617,123 results to the researchers.
I want to thank all those who joined the team in the past few weeks. Because of your contributions, our daily point production has increased by more than four million.
I just joined up in the last week, after reading moviemans email. 145,251 and counting !! Just put the i7 920 up to 4.3 for 24/7 last night.

I'm definitely seeing 12 mil in the crystal ball tomorrow :D
Not bad for a Sunday:clap:
This beer is for XS! Go team! :toast:
Nice, not much further now till our next milestone
I think we're going to have a very good day today.:D;)
wow
Doesn't anyone want to post today's numbers?:)
12,477,691
:eek2:
Sweet!!!!!!
Not only did we hit 12 but we're almost to 13
As expected;)
Soooo, what color is for 13 mil?:D
Wow, 13Mil tomorrow?
I don't see why were celebrating we still have a long way to 100 million :p: 13 million coming on Thursday in GREEN
sweet GJ everyone.
41% of team members returned work today, which is very good. Now if we can get that number up to 50% that would really be something to toast.:toast2:
Guy, this is seriously impressive. Double what we were doing just a handful days ago...
But like Pulsar said, don't celebrate just yet, we need to go just over 8 fold what we're doing right now. This mean everything you got. Absolutely Everything. That means your desktop, laptop, netbook, tablet, DVR, stereo system and don't forget the kitchen sink! Everything needs to be running wide open.
Now I know not everyone can go out and buy a new 980X and get it running, and not all of us have i7s or even Dual or quad cores, but I do know we all have a computer. (you are viewing this afterall) And that computer does have a CPU. I fully expect that CPU to be crunching it's heart out. That along with every other CPU you can get permission to use. If we all do our absolute best to pull together and fight toward our goal, I have no doubt we can do it, really - None. But if even just a couple of us don't get every last core, all of those missed cores will add up, and we might fall short. 100M is a lofty goal, but we can do this guys, you know in your hearts we can.
So what are we waiting for?!?
Ive got a intel centrino duo laptop but crunching on it sends the temps to 80c+ is that normal or ok?
Always used desktops the laptop was free I dont care to burn it out since it my newspaper.
Any thoughts on that real quick not trying to change the subject but the kitchen stove was mentioned.
Just realized I have a core duo thinkpad T60 here. I'd use it instead of my T41 except it has a crappy XGA screen, yuck... but it may crunch OK.

I know everyone is getting things ironed out so lets shoot for 12 million again tomorrow
aw man 56 points short :lol2:
I didnt wake up in time to switch my net connection over to my quad so last nights results from that machine werent uploaded yet :(
Another great effort by the team. :toast:
We need to start ratcheting things up. May 1st is fast approaching.
I will be adding my wife's o/c'd 9550 for that week but I should be running the 2 920's well beyond the competition.
I'm not sure what others' situations are but I'm not a 24/7 cruncher simply because I don't pay the power bill around here. But come Thursday/Friday I'll be plugging in my frankenmachines and letting them plow for the week. So I don't know, maybe some folks are waiting to before they go full throttle. I'm really excited to see what we can do
Started full throttle today wanted to make sure no issues with overclocks or power draw :)
If each active team member can get at least one friend or neighbor to crunch for just a week, that will help a lot. If you can get more than one friend, even better. And if you can get them to keep crunching past May 8th, that would be terrific. :)
sent a pair of X5482's north to Canada with Artem today for a SM X7 board he has.. Should pull more than the one 5405 he has in it!
I been running full throttle since I switch back to WCG...
set up 8 more threads today(i3 and i5 laptops) and another c2d tomorrow will bring me to 15 threads.
when I signed up last week I thought I was bringing just my c2d to the table.
turns out I've got my own little team backing me up. just gotta love goodhearted friends.
just saw this and it's just what I've been doing and yes they are in it for the long haul:up:
Hey everyone, I'm somewhat new here, and I know that this probably isn't the right place for this, but...
I just got an A on my master's thesis at Harvard Divinity School and guaranteed my place as the first Atheistic Humanist to ever graduate from their MDiv program.
As I like to say, "keep crunching for cures, because god knows prayer doesn't work."
Thanks for the help but take some advice?
There's two subjects that absolutely don't work in here: Politics and Religeon.
Easiest way to get peoples blood pressure going faster then being chased by a wild bull..
Trust me on this, I learned the hard way.
Now my congrats to you on your upcoming degree.
I do have an idea of how much work was involved in that and A's at Harvard don't come easy..
I have at least two more cores going online tomorrow. A P3 and a P4. AND if I can get this freaking E2140 to display video that will go online as well. OH and moms dual core laptop also have a friend putting her laptop on for the week. So all in all not bad.
No offense taken.:) Congratulations on your master's thesis.
Just have posted a little post on my facebook, will see if tommorow any of my friends join first wcg and if they do i will tell them to join our team. I also had some news about my first ever tax refund so my planned 4p g34 socket could be done for the summer.
Heres the group

I'm seeing 13 in the forecast for tomorrow! Congrats team on the highest numbers we have seen yet :up::clap::up::clap::up:
Hell Yeah! :party::bounces::party:
Nice work!
I did get a Silver today:

I just fired more gear up for the challenge!
This is getting better
I think my T60 laptop supports a C2D Merom CPU (it has a Core Duo Yonah in it right now). I just picked up a T7200 2.0 GHz Merom from a scrapped laptop today... gonna see if it works in there or not :D Not sure how much of a difference there would be, but hey every little bit helps right?
Nice job, team. :toast:
Brown for 13?
We need to get more machines crunching if we want to get to 13 or even 14 million. As I mentioned earlier, get your friends to crunch for at least a week. I know some of you have already done that and we appreciate your efforts. Every machine counts.:soap:
^^^I'll ditto that!
Guys: Think 7000 Q6600's(running 24/7 dedicated at 3600MHZ) needed for this to happen( 100 million) and today we had the equal of maybe 850 of them.
On a positive note, 42.56% of our team members returned work today (Wednesday). 655 people generated 12.67 million points. That's more than 19,000 points per person. That's fantastic. Maybe tomorrow we can get 45% of members returning results and 50% by Saturday.
To be honest, I would be quite happy with 14 million if we can get more XS members to participate. This goes well beyond the challenge to your team. Now is the time to stand up and be counted.
No offense, but to me, the challenge to BBT is just a side-show. The real purpose of May 1-8 is to show the power of our team. It's to show how a relatively small group of enthusiasts can take on the big corporate and university teams and not only beat them, but beat them badly. It's also to show how, when ordinary people band together, they can achieve great things.
What local time is this going to start? Is it the sames Time Zone as XS-server time?
I'm not sure when it starts on my local time in Norway, (UTC+01:00).
The "official" challenge will start at 00:00hrs GMT on the 1st, since that's the time zone WCG runs on.
Good news, everyone. I've been tinkering with a Phenom II X6 1055T and it has been crunching WCG all night at 4.01 GHz. It did all yesterday at 3.85 GHz.
woo hoo go particle!
Xtremesystems 12,871,171 I'll take the blame on this one I got addicted to the supersonic sled demo :p:
We all know the weekend is starting and WCG will report low numbers so lets see 14 MILLION ON MONDAY!
I tried my best to counterbalance you pulsar, but my 60,000 yesterday (up from 40,000) wasnt enough :P
No shame in setting another team record.
40.54% of team users returned work today which is down slightly from yesterday. Need to go above 45%. We have enough team members to hit 14 million. But we need more of them to crunch on a daily basis.
If our new teammates can keep on crunching after next week, we can take over EasyNews within a short time.
Looking at the team member stats, I see a lot of people haven't reported in the last 30 days. How can we reach out to these people to come back to the Grid?
LOL, you are right. I can beat any LN2 with my air-cooling at winter time :D, but it is getting warm now, and can suddenly hit 30'C+ very fast. I don't want to stop it for the whole next week, and have therefore been adding extra cooling today. Just trying to guard myself against sudden temperature raise.
Xtremesystems 13,341,264
Looks like 13 was too easy 14 million on Monday. Keep up the great work team
:shocked:GJ all, I love checking this thread every night!!!:shocked:
Nice way to start off May.:D
Great work team!
Beautiful chart:D
42.24% of team users returned work today.:) Let's try for 45%.
