and for the memory voltage u rise MVDDC & MVDDQ from ATItool at the same time? I have to rise them togheter?
Im just confused with the voltages,
which one works and is "true"? atitool or overclocker???
when I adjust mem voltages in overclocker atitool shows them, but when I adjust voltages in atitool overclocker shows them at its the default :stick:
I think it will be DMM time!
I knew that u have to adjust them from che ATI tool, but which mem volt i have to rise? MVDDC or MVDDQ???
MVDDC:)Quote:

That's with 670/729 (1.275v/2.1v), stock cooling.
where as...what is the MVDDQ??
Is it only my card or does it happen to anyone else's aswell?
If i set the vgpu volts anything over 1.150v, anything 3d and it freezes so 1.150v is my limit. Does this happen to anyone else?
This is because of either the power source (the volt regulators) or the chip itself can't handle the high voltage. I've seen a few that can't take it over 1.15V and some have taken it quiet a bit higher. I top out at 1.225, and can hit 1.25 for 3D mark runs some times.Quote:

MVDDQ deals with the ram. It helps out on higher clocks thats basically all I know on that, but making sure that the MVDDQ does not go above MVDDC. All I've found so far is that would be a bad thing and would likely damage the memory.Quote:

Good explanation here about what the voltages are: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showpo...&postcount=135
Here are some results of my Sapphire X1800XL 256Mb VIVO with 1.4ns memory! Memory overclocked nice, first with lower core I was able to test 720Mhz, but with higher core frequency of 656Mhz memory went to 769 :D Best I coud get stable for benching was 656/769 (1539)!

My achievements:
3DMark03 18732 from ~ 14400!

3DMark05 10282 from ~ 7590!

3DMark06 4439 from ~ 3250!

Nice improvement :)
What type of voltage you using? I'm really curious about how much you are putting into the memory since I know mine can hit 730 relatively easy, and 700 is a piece of cake.
You can se my voltages in pictures ;)
But Ok, Im useing something like this:
VGPU: 1.225v
MVDDC: 2.315v
MVDDQ: 2.050v
Memory is interesting thing, when my core is @ 500 Mhz, max memory 715 - 720, when my core is at 650, then memory goes to 769, strange, but interesting! Dont know if I need so high votage with high core fruequency! For first testing I overclocked core and memory separately! Here what coud I get with what voltage:
Tested memory till 2.067v/2.067v, then I puted high votage and looked were can I get - become boring for me :slap: Maybe I can get lower, I hope so, but for testing, not 24/7 usage its ok! And it will not hurt mem chips, if they ar cooled well :)Code:1 min ATITool 0.25 b14 3D stabile for lockups!

Now I should look what can I get stabile for 24/7 usage, core sometimes goes to 670 ok or even more for some time, sometimes not, damn that they are A14 ones:nono:
hey guys, i got a connect3d x1800 gto flashed to 16 pipes
same lock up 1t 1.2v on the core,
I'm tryin to push the ram now
700mhz @ 2.2v mem, i/o: 2.0v
Running on stock heatsink, with the fan 100% duty and another 20mm fan blowin at the voltage regulaotrs at full speed.
