My friend got a Epox 9NDA3+ , is it compatible ?
i'm considering the purchase of a ddr-2 module.
curious what are the responses and experiences of those who have bought one and pushes some sticks with one.
chances are i'll still buy it however, i'd like to hear some experiences for comparison.
My sexy maximizer is here too..:D
Thanks George...:toast:

Kingpin has a thread in the xtreme OC section where he is putting 3.0v through his DDR2 with this and he has some pretty good results to show for it:Quote:

BTW I JUST show our first review of it.....Though it is in French and I don't understand a word - except of the "electronical language" of it - I MUST admit that it's one of the most beautifull reviews I've ever seen......!....NOT because it's my "baby" reviewing BUT because of the "professionalism" these guys have......
Which company out there would deny to send them stuff for reviews?....I think NONE
....;) :)

The easiest thing he can do is to remove/unsolder the coil I yellowcircled into photo OR lift it's one side up by unsoldering it and then plug the DDR PCB....... :)Quote:

In case he doesn't/can't unsolder it, he has to send us some measurments with a multimeter in some spots I could point out so as to see if it's OK or not.....:)
I thank you Tyrou for the perfect review.....It's very well detailed and I kinda like it...:) :toast:Quote:

Aha , removing the coil is just to be on the safe side with the maximizer if i understand right. ( this is 100% safe ? )Quote:

Nothing.....Simple the motherboard will not post due to miss of the Vdimm.......You can't harm it in this way......and yes this way is 100% safe.....;)Quote:

Thank you for the work you have done and the device you have provided for the OC-ing community.
I think it has the same Power Circuit like our GeForce6600 cards for the contest. The coil is the only thing that is between the Vcore (GPU) and power mosfets. No coil, no voltage :) Removing it makes it safe to use the Maximizer because then no voltage can flow back to places we don't want it to flow to. Well, I guess so, right Hipro?Quote:
