Did you at least adjusted the fans so the air would blow one way from left to right?
Got mine plumbed. Filled it, started up the pump.... pump won't stay running, the D5 revs up and quits :(
This boards manual says it's power requirements are this-SSI 24-pin + 8-pin + 8-pin power connectors / EPS12V. I also see it can take a GFX card so what is the best PSU for this baby
I don't know about best but I have that board using onboard graphics powered by by this.

I don't know if you'd rather pay a bit extra (possibly £15, I don't know how the fees work) or send as a gift?

Have you ordered any heat sinks Kryja? A friend of mine that works for Microsoft in Reading can hopefully get some discount from scan.co.uk for heat sinks (Coolermaster Hyper TX3). I doubt it'll be a big discount, but if it's anything significant it might be worthwhile ordering them with me. Also, if you do decide on the TX3 I'll get some extra brackets made for you by my friend. Only cost for the brackets will be postage.
I've only got my board and ram on the way at the moment so need to buy everything else.
I need to budget a bit what with building this, a Sossaman (thanks Ramaistro :D) and going to Japan for three weeks, so yeah any discount is better than a kick in the teeth. That'd be great if you could count me in for four heat sinks and brackets. You the man Jacka :up:

It's single rail and far more powerful than you'll need for the CPUs alone. Will be fine with the adaptors.

Most PSUs are at their most efficient at ~50% draw, so if you can afford it you're best buying a higher powered one.

750 is great. Should be right around the sweet spot with just CPUs running.
I'd have to fire mine back up while its attached to my UPS to get a rough estimate of consumption, but so far I've had no problems running my quad 8347 and an 8800GT on a xfx 650W on a tyan board (less efficient)
~45% load when calculating pi, and there's a ~18% load on it from my normal system, on an opti-ups 1700VA (900W) UPS
I'm pretty sure this is correct but just to double check; to power the board using the psu metalop1g linked, it's the normal 8 of the psu, two of these adapters and a rewired 6 pin? How is the 6 pin rewired? Sorry, I know this has been posted before but I'm at work so cannot see any pictures.
PCIe 6 pin has the ground and 12V wires switched compared to the 8 pin EPS12V. So you need to either switch the wires so it matches, or plug it in backwards, or something like that.
