as i said earlier, cool it BETTER - add peltier to that for a start and i am 100% sure with one 226W pelt you will brake not only 2.7 but some more barriers :D

exactly - 50C is high - my 745 runs at 52C load with no heatsink overclocked to 1.94 - if i want to reach the 2.6 range I need to keep it below 40C or it'll reboot.

btw ur sig says 1.9 - there are no 1.9s; the 750 is 1.86

guys i have a problem in 3dmark 2k3, with dothan at 2700mhz i score around the same that with dothan at 2500mhz...and i also increase fsb...i donno what is going wrong maybe someone can help...

3dmark03 is a vid card test - cpu has very little to no effect on the last three tests.

I get a boost of under 20 marks from 2.4 to 2.6GHz with an x800xt.

NOT booting with 201MHz fsb BUT with 200MHz fsb.......With the 201MHz fsb you lose about 300+MB/s Memory bandwidth with the BH chips..... ;)

Also comparing a P4P800-SE with a P4C800-E, it's like the day and the night.....NO compare at all.....875 chip shows it's teeth on P4C800-E mobo....... ;)

problem

using the p4p800se

and when i boot @ 200 it's faster but the AGP/PCI aren't locked, if I boot at 201, it's ALOT slower, but the locks kick in

Try to clear C-Mos and do it again......It happens to me too with the P4C800-E sometimes...... ;)

boot @200 with ati cards will loose fix, if you have nvidia or pci you can boot at 200!

yeah ive got an x800xt in there

i can fix it by booting at 201, but i lose about 5 seconds in superpi 1M

Hmm as the P4C800-E is discontinued, what would you recommend instead if I cannot snap up a P4C800-E quick enough? P4P800-SE?

With an 6800GT you can't. If I boot @ 200fsb and I raise fsb in windows, lock-up.

I reckon you can get into 21s if you put some bh5s in there :) nice work though :P, my 740'll do 2.55GHz, but heat is the concern here, all my chips seem to run ALOT hotter than on my DFI 855...either way, they perform way better, maxing out at 31.7k in 01 with a stock x800xt
