Fzero u are complicating the issue for no reason at all. No one is challenging your belief that the 3500+ doesnt have 1MB cache, but here's the thing and pls try to understand this carefully:
Both the Venice and the SanDiego have exactly the same cores, their different nametags are because of their difference in cache. THEREFORE, any...AND I MEAN ANY...processor that is 90nm and Rev E is AUTOMATICALLY a Venice, irrespective of whether AMD disabled the cache OR the alley cats from Stuart Little came and mistook it for a square mouse, it dosent matter, if its not there, its a Venice.
AMDFan had the right idea, though the 4000+ Venice seems a tad new, it may be a part of their upcoming releases THAT we dont know but there is NO such thing as a 3500+ 512K San Diego....its a Venice the second its not 1MB Cache.
