disabling HT is good for about .2-.4 seconds off :D almost half a second. the most I saw was .3

Those Super PI scores are quite poor for 4.5GHz I would say...
Should be getting at least 9 seconds I would have thought?
I got sub 9 seconds with 4.6GHz..
You want HT disabled you got it mate :D

I'm testing stability @ 4.4 now but it runs too hot as temps hit 90 full load. :( And I need a whopping 1.5V in order to keep it running, gotto figure out a way.
Don't know if I should be happy with 4.5Ghz or should I aim more, don't really wanna go above 1.5V though. :|
Those scores are more inline with your o/c now..
What did you change?
@Patty, I had HT enabled, wasn't it in this thread I posted my pic??

Here it is again anyway.

Ane here is another at 4.5GHz:

As for getting 4.4GHz on air, that sounds a little ambitious tbh, I was told by guys on here I would be VERY lucky to get that once I put my chip under water...

yes your runs are better now, I remember yours were a bit slower too! Super pi is a single threaded bencmark, having more threads will only make it worse. disable two cores, it should get even faster. My Phenoms ran it the quickest on two cores.
Yes, 4.4 Ghz is extremely hard to get stable. You are stressing everything there, the CPU Itself, board everything. most people seem to run about 4.0-4.2GHz stable for everyday use.
CPU-Z 1.248V 4.6GHz on air
Pi has slowed.
I think that this is a limit.

Nice blunt
4.4 on my megahalem here :)
will post some screens soon.
with super PI or something.
I wish I could remember what batch # this CPU is - the box is around here somewhere I'm sure.....
I know I can can actually do it quicker than this but I'm in the middle of doing other things.... Like wise my CPU can clock this high on lower volts but fiddling to try and get 8hr prime stable...

Might good CPU you got there. Why don't you run the below version of Super pi, it has tenths added to the time. So the time is more exact instead of just 7 sec, 8 sec, etc.
