i never understood the reasoning behind two lan ports.
get a LAN card for $10 if you need another one....won't break your budget...........I don't think too many people use 2xports....i got a gigabit switch so that i don't have to stuff around thinking about that

I used dual lan on my old DFI LP socket a card (:banana::banana::banana:ty card btw). but that was because i didn't have any router so i used my primary computer as router. If you got a router i don't understand what two lanports shoud be good for.
a dual router set up...
Just incase....
what's the best bios for TCCD RAM guys
Ok here is a 1:1 shot its 4-hour prime stable...I will try for some more tomorrow.
aim for 4Ghz
Dunno where all the problems arise... I've never had an issue with the AN8 series.
Oh... and please change pimping status in the first post. :D
3.0V with Corsair TCCD 345 MHz 3-4-4-8 1T Prime and Memtest stable (actualy I managed 347 MHz... but... nevermind) :)
400 MHz HTT and 200 MHz TCCD.
I've got an old pair of BH-6s wich managed to do 270 MHz on the DFI @ 3.8V... dunno how they will compare on the AN8.
All tests are done on the AN8 SLI, completely doable on the normal AN8 (HTT of course).
Nice scores varz. ABout time someone took my crown. I actually never tried to run my TCCD at 3-4-4-8 lol. Anyway out of curiosity whats the max your able to get at 2.5-4-3-6? And a tip when going for the bh-5 record use bios 13. Maybe ill give ya a run for the HTT but i sold my tccd :( to buy larger modules.
very nice results Varzmaster
yeah i think tictac hasn't really updated some of the front page stuff.....as i've surpassed my results in that Ultra User header by miles
it seems that TCCD and Abit are a good mix..... 1T A OK at 2.9GHz 32M SuperPI run with DDR333 divider

Never could get past your score with 2.5-4-3-8... max I could do with 2x 256 (I suppose you used the same... screenies don't work anymore) was 320 MHz stable through Memtest and Prime. SPI 1M was stable @ 328 MHz.Quote:

Alas... Abit AN8 still gets my vote against DFI's LP UT nF4 for those who want decent, 24/7 doable overclocks.
BTW: did you know the Abit KN8 Ultra does't get past 210 MHz lol? :) BIOS is looking pretty good actualy... but nevertheless it's bugged. :(
Nah never looked at the kn8. And if you can suicide with those bh-5 sticks of yours above 268 ill give it to ya as i never verified any of my screenies :) And yes all my records were done with 2 x 256 modules ( the memory of straight up hardcore benchers :) )
As for my screenies ya my stupid ISP wiped out my account when i moved even though i was still using the same ISP. I shoulda backed up all the screenshots. :(
I've edited my post above (wrote 220 and 228 instead of 320 and 328)... I should lay off white wine for a while. :D
My Winbond sticks are not BH-5... they're BH-6. I doubt I can do 268 MHz, seeing that I could do only 270 MHz 2-2-2-5 with 3.8V in the DFI. But anyway, I'll give it a go whenever I'll make a little bit of time. :)
hey guys when the nf7/nf7-s came out was it as buggy as the an8 series?
sort of thats why the good board was the 2.0 revision the 1.1 and 1.2 had some issues.Quote:
