Ok. Manufacturers not helping with the "on the edge" overclocks in that regard.Quote:

The chip may respond better to lower voltage at certain clocks but will cap out at the same frequency as the others no matter what voltage you use.Quote:

Who has hit 3GHz on 1.375v Prime stable? I dont see any on the chart.Quote:

i believe repo has, and there are a couple guys on other forums that have. and you don't see any on what chart?
yea, repo has 2hr prime stable 3ghz @ 1.375
my chip boots into windows 3ghz @ 1.35, but i can't keep the temps low enough to stability test it.
Yeah i believe that was on his 0608MPMW and unless your looking at a different screenshot then i am it says 1.375v in CPU-Z which would mean his actual vCore is at 1.4v or a little higher. I'm sitting at 1.4v actual right now and CPU-Z is saying 1.360v.Quote:

and if you're talking about the "chart" on the first post, there are no results on there because i haven't put them on there. they will be on the next update.
It will differ from board to board because of the different motherboard sensors but it usually always reports low on the DFI NF4 boards from what i've seen. Its usually .025-.04v for me on my Expert board. If you will take a DMM and measure the vCore on a DFI board it should be near exact what you set in the BIOS and reporting a little lower then that by the sensors. I have the vCore set to 1.4v right now without special and its reporting 1.360v in CPU-Z.Quote:

I lost another img where I did prime for 32 hours on 2.5ghz, same settings using SP2004.
I tried 2.6, and that took 1.475 volts to stabilize, but no screenie cuz I wanted to keep going.
2.66 ghz took up to 1.55 volts for prime stable. Temps were around 55, so I gave up.
Cooling: XP-120 + Panaflo.
Core 0 was very weak.
I'm now testing a 0551 UPMW I got from Monarch today. What are you guys getting from Monarch ATM? (Opteron 170). I know 610s are coming in for 165s, but what about for 170s? Was I just the unlucky few that got sent a 0551 while everyone else is getting 610s?
So far 2.5ghz is prime stable at 1.35... will keep going and will post screenies
could have told you that before you even started :p:Quote:

guys, ever heard of CCB1E 0607MPMW ?
is it a gem, or a stinker?
thx:)
Perhaps its a typo, ccb1e 0608mpmw exists.Quote:

btw is a 0550vpmw ccb1e opty 170 cold bugged ?
It may be a better chip because of the CCB1E stepping but for the most part the 0607MPMW chips have overclocked poorly.Quote:
