Anyone getting abnormally high system temps? 61C on purely stock voltages/clocks. Managed to get it to 52C but it's still too high.
reinstall the cooling system, put arctic silver or sth... i guess u r the 2nd person here with such high temp, reinstall the cooler
Have you tried all of this?Quote:

New review from VR-Zone: http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=3870&s=1
Pretty good, I'd say, but unfortunately they used E6700.
Seems shamino is wrong :D
"this is probably not the board for pushing the CPU clock speeds to close in on 4GHz for Core 2 Duos, especially when you're on the 4MB Cache Conroes of E6600, E6700, X6800. The modest 3 phase power seems to be the limiting factor in this area"
damn dude that's just excellent

I can OC just fine with a gx2 on a e6400 and ds3. I am still trying to figure out what voltages to use and what a stable oc will be however I can boot just fine at 400 fsb. I am just unsure on what settings to use to get a stable OC.Quote:

Dont know if that will work but give it a shot.

Speedfan will get you your temps and some of your voltages. I don't even have Easy Tune loaded anymore because it slows things down and has services running in the background even when it's "closed"
I think you should try "SetFSB for GA-965P" , it works well ;)

Nice one misteroadster :toast:
I will have retail 6600 soon and report oc on air/water, as well as phase and dice :)
Shamio is very good at what he does and Misteroadster is very good at what he does.:DQuote:

I am hitting a fsb wall with my week 24 6400 @ 400fsb (3.2ghz / 1.52v) with the beta f4 bios. My bios settings are .1v for everything but mem which is .4v (team xtreme). I've also disabled things/legacy usb as instructed in the faq. I had hoped to get to 3.4-3.6ghz but not looking good :/ anyone have any settings that may help things out with this combo? :)
