He's not faking anything, memclk freq = 200 which means no divider is being used. :slap:Quote:

Awesome overclocks everyone. Please forgive a completely newbie question, but where do you guys get your BIOS updates for the DFI series boards?
Man, I don't know about any PQI Value RAM, there're PowerMemory or TurboMemory, here's the link to PQI:Quote:

I loved my P4C800-E Dlx, but it is doing your RAM a great injustice it seems. :(
Could be cheaper to keep your current RAM and update rest of system?
Good luck! :)
Noob here, please be gentle. I read most of this thread, and am now feeling dazed and confused.
I want to have 2 x 1GB sticks, as I have been unable to get far with my 4 sticks of 512. System: San Diego 3700 on Soltek K8T-939pro, I'm able to run stable at around 2600 (240x11) and am pleased with this. Have Corsair XMS 3200C2 that just won't go past 220 no matter what I do, whether I use 2 sticks or 4, 218 is about the limit. So, I'm looking for 2 sticks of 1024 at a reasonable price that will run at the 1:1 divider on this board (anything above 230 will make me happy). I do also have positive dividers available, so I can go higher than HTT if I want. (216, 233 and 266)
Please advise on the most likely sticks for my needs. The Skill 3200 looks to be a decent value, or should I go for some 4000? I really want to find something that will run at 2.5-3-3-6 if possible, I see some real benefits with the tighter timings.
Nutshell:
2 sticks of 1GB
Must be able to run at 240+ at 1T 2.5-3-3-6
Reasonable cost.
Anybody wanna buy 4 x XMS 3200C2 512MB ?
Your first investment should be a DFI NF4 Ultra-D. You could even wait for the new revision coming out later this month. Secondly, Ballistix are around $300 now, and they truly outperform every other stick on the market, so I can only justify getting them even if they are $50 more than a lesser set.
Thanks for the link gundamit.
There's a new revision of the DFI coming out?!? Sweet.
Ye, I came to the same conclusion. Yet, I don't want to upgrade at the moment, and I want to just find a compatible RAM for my FSB 282MHz 1:1, 5:4 or 3:2, I don't care.Quote:

Brain lapse on that one.
I guess I should toss some results in the mix. I haven't had time to complete testing yet, but here's my GSkill HS @ 2.7V:
