guys,
i'm planning to buy P4GD1 soon..
what would be the max vcore, max vdimm after ct-479 is installed ?
the multiplier will be fully unlocked right ?
thanks in advance.....
max vcore, through pinmod is 1,8V, max vdimm depends onboard (or mods you do) and multiplier can be set with EIST.Quote:

only P4GD1 suffers this problem ?
don't know... you could PM Charlie for example.
He has that board already and he can probably tell you :)
The P4GD1 got locked multi in bios.

I think I’ve reached the max fsb with original vcore. Instability at 170 even with vdd at 1.8V. I’m using the beta bios 1009 in a p4p800se, mp working fine. Hadn’t try vcore adjustments because still using the asus ct-479 original cooler. I'm wishing to go water in a near future. Thanks for all tips. :D
With 1006 bios as well?Quote:

Yupp but I cracked the core so badly that my max clock got decreased with 80mhz :(Quote:

MrLobber, yes P4GD1 is fully locked
Urlyin, I don't need to cause I could boot with the adapter :D I got a 16 bios or something in it and it worked flawless :P
i am at 2.6ghz 217fsb with my 730 cpu, what do i need to post to be added to the list?

Stryg ... you can add Systool to apps ... it can change multi, FSB , memory timings and find max oc, plus monitors CPU temps from on board chip ... here. Works with my PM 750 and P4P800-E ...
Done :toast:Quote:

How can i do on a p4p800?Quote:
- Flashing to P4P800-E bios gives 4:5 and 3:4 dividers along adjustable vcore
Do i need that vcore u-wire mod to get higher vcore in p4c800-e dlx mobo?
i can put 1.6 in bios. and rise it whit vcore mod. but but. is that u-wire mod needed in that mobo?
Here is one tip on how to cool the dothan with water+pelt, very easy installation if you have the parts.
Swiftech MCW50-T with parts from this heatsink.

The zalman 7000/7700 have the same parts, just rip 'em off. On top of the block, I have a rubberpad so that the retention wont slip. A 80W pelt should be able to keep the dothan cool dont you think?
My Dothan 730 stays onder 50 with full load with water and 1.6 vcore. Is this good? Or should it be lower?
I don't get why everyone's temps are sooooo high. I get under 30C @ 1.6V with a MCX159 chipset air cooler and only a few degrees above ambient on water.Quote:

well Intel says the C0s arelike 27W whereas the B1s are 21W, don't know if that effects it too much once o/ced.
Ok. My 730 boots whit 12x203FBS and its stable whit that. but thats all. i cant set any higher or its not stable anymore. i had used setfsb program to set clocks in windows. temps are 33C idle and 46 full load whit 1.6V.. i had tryed whit lover mems setting. still :banana::banana::banana:ty clocking. any advices?
