The test continues, but i'm waiting for migrate to better cooling solution.
Model: 3000+ Winchester
Core: 0.09
Date: 0444
Stepping: CBBHD
Code: VPEW
Mhz: 2900Mhz
Gain: 1100 Mhz Gain
Vcore: 1.525v
FSBxMulti: 9 x 323, memory running 1:1 with 2.5-4-3-7 timings (2x 512mb G.Skill)
Cooling: Boxed cooling
Stable: Not very stable, needs 1.6v to be stable, but there's barely any cooling paste on it so that means overheating, been trying to get some as5 ... Perfectly stable though at 9 x 311 with 1.5v

(also does:
2.6ghz with 1.3v
2.4ghz with 1.2v
2.3ghz with 1.1v  )
That's excellent, crank up the voltage and slap a XP-120 sink on that baby and show us 3Ghz on air! :toast:Quote:

nice one corvus_corax!
do the winnies put out less heat than a similar clocked aXP since they are 90nm and require less voltage?
thanks
I get 33 degrees idle on air at 1.5Vcore
New CPU arrived... I like it.
