Blimey... never thought this thread would keep growing an growing like it does, its almost as big as the P5Q mBIOS thread
Beyond 4Ghz barrier.,but not very impressive..
You should be able to run a lower PL, TRFC is loose too.
An update for the 4.23Ghz with PL8 and 10k read score..
My 535x7.5 result..quite happy with it..
Nice results there:D My sh...y P5Q non pro looks like she doesnt like D9GMH. I have pair of Crucial Value 667 CL5 2x1GB(D9GMH), and they cant go more then 1100 on this mobo. With SuperTalent ddr2 800( PowerChip i can hit 600FSB(1200ddr2) easy). Any experiences with P5Q non pro??
Sry for my bad english:D
nice one ezaleina, great memeory results you got there.

shall i go higher? im still at 2.19v
Been playing with ddr3 recently, had to make the switch, got me a striker 2 extreme, pretty sweet board, great bandwidth and latency on this board:up: I do miss my xtreme team 1300s.
I haven't YET been able to get the heatspreaders off my Cell Shocks (1000MHz CL5 kit) so I don't know if they are GKX or GMH, but they are absolutely . Did some quick benches with 2.2v (I will go no higher for the moment) and surprisingly I see a drop in SPI performance going from 4GB CL5 to 2GB CL4.
DDR 950 4-3-3-8 2T 2.2v

FINALLY! You guys will have seen this many times before but this is the first time I've ever managed sub 10s 1M, and it's all thanks to Micron D9. :D Tightened tRC and tRFC just a tad and went from 10.1s to what you see below. Needed 1.5v in BIOS for the CPU so won't be doing that again in a hurry lol. :yepp:
4.7GHz (495x9.5) DDR 990 4-4-4-8-2T

1300MHz C5 at stock volts  very nice
I'm not going near 2.3v on this mobo so I'm trying to get the best I can with 2.1v. The GKXs seem to love CL4...just did an hour of prime at 906MHz 4-3-3-10 2T with 2.1v, going to try the same again with 4-3-3-8.
Hey lenny, how did you get those spreaders off? I have the proper screwdriver to get those weird screws out but on each spreader 2 of the screws seem to be jammed in an my special 'driver just chews the heads up
Yeah the screws are not easy to work with. You need to push down pretty hard to make sure the head of the screwdriver engages with the screws - it took me a while to actually get the screws turning. I thought I had the wrong size fitment at first, but it just needed a little more encouragement :D
