Tommy, what does the rear bracket look like on the T-Rad? I'm not too impressed with the way the Scythe cooler is secured to the card, plus it's loose as hell without extra spacers.
Wow very nice. Big difference from the first few post in this category.
Some new ones of my aircooled TJ-07 on my new Canon G10

New fan on backside of mobo installed this weekend 100mm x 15mm Scythe... Not sure it does any good but it makes me feel good knowing there's something stirring potentially dead air. Anyone know a program that can sense mobo temp changes on P35?

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...Picture196.jpg
I can't help you with the program, but that's a pretty sexy rig you got there. What's your Ultima-90 keeping your temps at, and what voltage?
Battle_Rattle thats a awesome rig
Xtremely cool Ram cooler.
Thanks guys.
1.41 VCore set in bios (normal Vdroop present) = E8400 at 43c after 5 minutes of OCCT load... Ambient of 23c.
CPU lapped and Ultima lapped.
It's a really good combo. My E8400 is where it should be.
All it is, is an OCZ Ram cooler with the shroud removed. The shroud would interfere with HR-03 so off it came. I'm thinking about trying the Arctic cooling RC module but I think it may be too tall. I can mod it though.

Those stickers would certainly be coming off lol
Hey battle if your using a DSLR, use a grey card for custom white balance and retake those images with a trippod, you'll see a drastic change :D
Wow, those are some nice temps. I get around 47*C in 21*C ambient with a lapped TRUE and unlapped E8400 on 1.328 Vcore. I have a Scythe S-Flex 1200 RPM 49CFM fan on it.
G10 is the new powershot but it has alot of features... Ill reshoot later with your suggestions. Im new to "actual settings" photography lol ....Thanks!

Interesting... let me retest and get back to you in a PM. I know I got a really good seating of the Ultima this time around.
aren't those Arctic Cooling RC modules only fit the Arctic RC with it's kind of mounting?

:d:d
Holy sh*t!!!!
Awesome systems in here!
jbl2226h, What is that thing?
Y didn't u put thermal paste of the RAM chips?
BTW look good.
Because there is thermal tape already.
i've always wondered how you guys took out the stock heatsinks of the RAMs
Usually you just pull them off, gotta be careful though.
heat them with a hairdryer them pull off the heatspreader carefully
nice nice NICE!!
It might be there to fill in a gap that thermal paste can't fill up.
Nice pics Deepsilver.
Never really cared for Thermaltake products anyway. They do come out with some good stuff, but they need to stop putting plastic all over everything and discontinue their liquid cooling line.
Deepsilver - Does your Noctua comes with LGA 1366 retention kit?
nice tremeloes!!!
Very nice
@Deepsilver not using the silicon vibration absorbing strips for the heatsink ?
added some blacklights to my blacked out 300 =)

thanks!
wow nice. what fans are u using
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835233015
those on heatsink and rear, 140mm tricool on top rear, 2 slipstreams in front
what are ur temps on load?
depends on my settings =)
right now my 9850 is at 3.0ghz 1.36vcore and it only hits 46-48 load... another setting i sometimes use is 3.3 1.46 vcore and it reaches around 53-55 load - i couldnt be happier with this heatsink tbh
Just waiting for TR to release the HR-03 GTX now...

What fan is that on your IFX-14?
It's a Scythe Ultra Kaze 1000, might upgrade it to a 3000 and make more use out of my fan controller. Sucks too cuz I ran outta sleeving to do the sata power cables...kind of an eyesore
ah the 3000 :D my fav screamer
I have 3x 3000's :D
Only 2 r in atm.
1 on cpu and 1 on ram :D
They are awesome fans - my fav

enjoy
*blinks*
did that noctua come with the retention bracket or did you have to get it and then order?
I heard, if you send to Noctua scans of bills for cpu cooler and Nehalem MB, they'll send you LGA1366 mounting kit for free :)
just found the site, i love this.
it's almost worth waiting.

I'm sad because i can't use two memory sticks with this configuration :( True doesn't work that good on am2+...
Yes... But the True 120 mounting bracket for am2 socket just fits with this orientation :( At least in my quick observation... But i accept any suggestion :)
Marco Andre that must be a pain. Maybe u could do a mounting mod?
Update...I changed C2D E6400 to E8400, 8800GTX to HD3850 512MB and cooler from Noctua NH-U12F to Thermalright IFX-14 with two nexus fans + IFX-10

aspms* what model is that Lian Li case?
Yep it's PC-7F
Wow aspms, and I thought I was decent at wire management. Nicely done.
Here are a few shots of mine (which pales in comparison now that I see that!):
Specs
Biostar Tpower I45
E8400 @ 4.25GHz
Thermaltake Big Typhoon w/ a Sythe Ultra Kaze
2x2G G.Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK, DDR2-1066, 5-5-5-15
EVGA 8800GTX
Corsair VX450
*The red switch in the drive cage is a home-made clear CMOS switch. I didn't feel like drilling a hole in my brand new case. ;)
Bottom-up
http://www.myalbumbank.com/albums/us.../bottom-up.jpg
Never built one with a fan controller before...they are nightmares for wire management! Did the best I could. The only thing missing from this pic is the wire for the side-panel fan, which is obviously removed at this point.
http://www.myalbumbank.com/albums/us...llerwiring.jpg
Cleaned up the rear as best I could.
http://www.myalbumbank.com/albums/us.../finalrear.jpg
A couple more for posterity.
One to show the whole front.
http://www.myalbumbank.com/albums/us...0/allfront.jpg
The other because the colors really 'popped' in the shot.
http://www.myalbumbank.com/albums/us...80/mid-l-r.jpg
Ok, that's enough; thanks for looking. :)
This is a first build, running @ 4.5GHz 24/7...I'm looking at some Arctic Silver Ceramique under the NB etc., the next time I need to take the motherboard out, and some wire management of course...
