redstars, what case is that?
nice setup
I spy in his rig two 7900's, an ASUS (?) socket AM2 mobo, some weird PCI/PCi-E card and a Sound Blaster. From what I can tell it's an Apogee GT on the CPU w/2 MCW60's on the GPU's, probably Pentosin G11 in the loop w/Masterkleer tubing. Oh yeah, and Kingston HyperX Ram.
Redstars, tell me if I'm right! :p:
doesnt look like Apogee GTX
Clearly a GTX with AM2 plate.
The "weird" PCI-E card is the wireless that is attached on the P5W DH Deluxe.
The case is a Lian-Li 343B
That's quite amazing guys!
Sorry for the late reply, but here's a basic rundown from top to bottom of the pci slots:
1. Adaptec RAID 3805 8-port SATA controller
-- This was actually the most difficult mod I had to pull off, as it required an x4 slot that was completely blocked by one of the dual slot 7900gtx's. I ultimately had to add a "six inch, flexible, riser card" and re-attach the entire card reversed to a spare pci slot cover in an empty space at the top. My first "mod" that required some time with a drill.
2/3. 7900gtx
3. X-Fi "Fatal1ty" Card
The motherboard is the M2N32-SLI Deluxe, the cpu has a GTX with an AM2 plate, the memory is Kingston, and the case is the 343b.
Again, I am very impressed by all of your guesses! I have been working on this for about a year, and finally can enjoy just sitting back and taking some pictures.
Top down view:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6.../hftopdown.gif
Messy, worklog-style shot of the other side:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...fmessyside.gif
The last shot shows the messy guts that are fortunately hidden by the case divider.
To save some guessing:
-the psu is a Tt Toughpower 750w
-Six 750gb hdds are running in RAID 5
-there's a bluray player in the top front bay, followed by a lightscribe dvd-r, then the front connections for the X-Fi, and finally my newest addition... a Typhoon GX screen to monitor the internals and pick up my old MCE remote.
Lastly, to award some points for all the sharp eyes out there:
1. NickS 50 pts
2. Ic3man 45 + 5pts (for spotting the loose RAM module!) =50pts.
3. Xavior 30 pts bc I didn't expect anyone to notice the AM2 hold down plate
4.Mankz_91 10 pts for the case model.
hey! first time water cooling here. I'm gonna redo my loop - just got the Stealth 3 days ago, and now they announced the rev2, so I want to replace it :/ Will probably get some tygon tubing while I'm at it too. Just looking for some critiques before I do redo it. (yes I'm using a swiftech 220, I started reading here a lot more AFTER I purchased the kit, needless to say my timing with purchasing stuff sucks)
Anyways, here are the shots of my setup (ignore the res too, that should be fixed :P)

Lian Li V2100B, I'm lazy to take the case off the desk to take some pictures and beside the case is freaking heavy :) I will take some interior shot once I got a chance to do it, some teaser pics for exterior!

Enjoy!
here's my current cpu and NB loop on the p5k deluxe. I have the gpu loop setup I just haven't taking any pictures of it yet.
LOL it looks unreal .. :) Its the shortest loop i have ever seen :p: Nicee
LOL at the loop man. Pump hanging in the air ? LOL!
I'm with mcoffey on that one. Not a big fan of that hanging pump but if it works for you...Heh
I like the loop Sefan.
As long as the moment on the fuzion isn't causing a bad contact I guess it should give you very good performance.
Might get extra wear having the pump sideways. I don't know what the general concensus is on that topic these days...
that snail with tail case must be an absolute nightmare to watercool, but good luck nonetheless
BIP 120s
Yea they look like BIX's... BIX with a Noctua fan *shudders* :(
Do they push a lot of air?
well ive been browsing these forums for a year or so but i didnt think my rig was worthy of posting untill now, i installed my first water loop ever yesterday :)
so heres my baby :

this was my first build as it was initialy put together by my bro and i just did upgrades like ram and gpu, but i ripped the lot out to fit the watercooling and started from scratch

That's not too bad at all, good work there. I'd consider trying to shorten up the tubing so the pump is closer to everything rather than sitting on the bottom like that - perhaps mount it above your HDD bays? Shorter distances will mean less impedance. I'd also go Pump -> Rad -> CPU rather than Pump -> CPU -> Rad, it'll give you slightly better temps.
well here is my1st post inthis section :)
Something i made up my self hope u guys like it :)

Oh you lucky bastard, that is one very, very sweet rig there. What's in the loop? Looks like dual PA120.3s, am I right?
that looks like dual triple 120mm BIX rads there, look at the fan spacing, they're touching each other, Thermochills have a little gap between each fan. Swiftech's fins are less dense so it must be a BIX in there
Cheers guys :)
Well its a dual loop set up.
1st setup - res-> pump-> rad-> cpu-> res.
2nd setup - res-> pump-> rad-> gpu-> sb-> nb-> res.
As for the rads there are Hardware Labs Black Ice GT Stealth 360
@customss i really like your external WC box, really nice work.. i would like to see more pics of it, you would not happen to have a work log or something in some other forum.
@stinka what additive do you have in your loop..lol looks little bit like blood.. anyways looks freaking awesome to me..
and both of you guys :welcome: to XS
Here is my entry into this sticky. Just finished putting together a rig in a modded G70 case.
The front:
Attachment 61825
The usual 3-hole fan mod on the top:
Attachment 61826
Two more fan holes cut into the side:
Attachment 61827
The guts of my rig:
Attachment 61828
And the brand new X2900 XT 1GB in all its water-cooling glory:
Attachment 61829
I really have to say that xtreme systems really has given me quite a bit of inspiration for this build. I have learned quite a bit from all of you. Thanks!
Finished her last weekend after about 4 days of putting it together, most of that time spent making it look nice.
Specs are as follows:
evga 680i motherboard.
Intel e6600. oc'ed to 3.4
evga 768mb superclocked 8800gtx.
4gb g-skill memory.
3 500gb samsung spinrite sata 3.0 hd's.
2 250gb seagate barracuda sata 3.0 hd's.
silverstone st1000 psu,1000 watts.
thermaltake mozart tx case.
swiftech ultra water kit with stealth full cover vga block.
operating pretty good so far, 11713 on 3dmark. I have orthos but have yet to let it run for more than about 40 minutes. No errors so far. Highest temp I have seen on cpu so far was 55c. and that was running orthos and doing other things at same time. Highest on gpu is about 50c also. Both idle about 38c. Open to any suggestions. Will post pictures. hope they work.:)
this thread has been hoppin lately with lots of cool new pics
meatpod sweet rig, though i should mention i am biased toward the G70 'cause i have a black one modded with the pa120.3

@ $unny: nice water-color.
@lowfat
nice one! what is that fan blowing across the gfx?
@ lowfat - awesome setup, nice and clean. may i ask how you mounted your rad in the top section of that stacker?
i'm clamp/zip-ties less in my loop as well, 7/16" is very snug :)
That would be an Antec SpotCool, amazing little thing. I will eventually buy another to get rid of the OCZ XTC cooler.
Uhhh, would you laugh if i said 3M moulding tape
The way the stacker 830 fan is held up there (with some silly plastic mounting bracket), I could figure no other way as space is very limited. But it works :)
hey sunny need some more info and pics here
what case is that?
I am so lovin all of the water round here . I will post revised pics of my setup I cleaned it up allot so no need to pick on it .
Dont know if this still falls into the case gallery but here it goes..

$unny more pics pls.
RRIII looking good externally setup like that. how about some previews of said being modded case?
GPU Idle: 42C (Load temps not available atm).. Well in my case, having the GPU on its own loop would probably be an overkill since im getting ideal temps as it is.
Oh btw, CPU is clocked at 3ghz, Gpu 600mhz and vcore is set 1.36v.
oh! didnt realize i wasnt running them on dual channel for awhile there. thanks for the good find!
Here's a lil preview but not giving too much away..Modding it from the ground up..Just barely started so it will probably take me another 2 weeks or so to finish this up.

:) Hi everyone, I have not posted on this thread before but have just finished rebuilding my rig.
This is my first venture into liquid cooling and I have to say a big thank you to many threads in these forums, they provided invaluable help on how to set everything up. This is the quietest rig I have ever built thanks to the Mcubed BigNG fan controller, it's absolutely brill!
Anyway.....some pics.....not as good as some of the great rigs in this thread but not bad for my first go.

My Case. Extra long tubing. Will replace hardware and water blocks after summer...
Aargh, no! Elbow fittings! Bad!
Seriously, they slaughter your flow rates - if it's at all possible, try and get a run of tubing between your CPU block and rad, rather than the elbow.
i know mate but its that tight, tubing kinks, i tried many options and besides a 15mm copper plumbing fitting is much bigger than the 7/16 tube bore so i doubt it even makes a diff
heres my temps :
http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...t/newtemps.jpg
That copper elbow isn't as bad as most elbows. It has a more gradual bend to it than the typical right-angle on the others. And, judging by the temps, it's fine.
Here's my ne Core 2 Duo platform :). Works quiet nicely:
