I cranked it up to 1.4v and when I left home this morning I was at 8hrs+ on both cores no errors at 2.6Ghz - maxxing at 53C load. At least I know it will do 2.6Ghz stable. I guess I'll consider this a "burn in" run.

This thread is awesome and helped me decide on the 3800 instead of the 4600 for $100 more. Ppl are getting some really nice numbers from these chips.

I got one coming in from Newegg NJ on Monday or Tuesday. I am hoping it will be a Toledo, but it's doubtful. Anyone receive one from NJ recently?
Mine was from NJ but it was late Aug... 2+ weeks ago.

I was surprised from the stepping as I was not able to find info about it...in any case...so far so good, I still have problems with the temperatures (think something is wrong in my config: 36° idle - 48° full load with Orthos) BUT
in few minutes I weas able to jump @ 275*10 @default vcore :) (not the limit yet, just stopped my tests)
as soon as my cooling system is OK I will go further testing :woot:
I'm ordering a 3800 by the end of the day, and now that i know Aria was actually stocking Manchesters (even though they're completelely out of stock of all x2 3800s now anyway) i'm at a loss as to where to order from. Options are OCUK, Scan and Chillblast (Dabs, Ebuyer, Aria, Kustom PCs etc. are all out of stock), and nowhere is identifying their stock as Toledo core. But my question is this...
Has anyone in the UK received a Toledo from any of these retailers recently anyway?
I ask this because i heard e-tailers do not always make the effort to update their systems when they receive new stock, and would embrace any opportunity to land myself a Toledo instead of a Manchester.

he is very friendly (he unpacked the box he had just received to check if there were different steppings inside) so I think that it's worth to try :)
It's a good idea boboli but my schedule is tight and i really need to have the parts for my upgrade here as soon as possible, because i am leaving home soon and taking my PC with me. Ordering from Italy would cause complications and probably take longer than i have to spare, and i was hoping to get all my parts ordered today so that the shops could dispatch the items tomorrow.
Well nope seems once again the UK gets the sucky steppings and etailers (is it that difficult to say the revisions when the american sites can!). I emailed scan and they bascially said luck of the drawer over if you get E4 or E6. Chillblast said they had mancs in
Yeah man, i just f*ckin' jibbed it in the end and ordered a supposed Manchester from OCUK, but i guess i won't really know what i've got 'til i've actually got it 'cos they won't even reply to my emails. Might end up being a LCBIE Toledo (or that's what i'm hoping anyway :p) but i'll get back to you when it arrives tomorrow.

Woo, got my x2 3800 today, an LDBHE 0606 BPBW. I won't be testing for another few days yet as i'm still waiting for parts in the post. But my Infinity came today too :), can't wait to put these two together!
I think LDBHE 0606 is reasonable, no? Not sure about the BPBW tho. Any clues?
