Fits on my DFI nF4 Ultra-D just fine. On the chip is engraved:
AMD Athlon TM 64
ADA3700DAA5BN
CABHE 0505FPMW
1213347C50076
ASSEMBLED IN MALAYSIA
I'm baffled too.

I wonder why monarch is holding back for current orders...
I smell something fishy about this whole pre-order business. And I bet Monarch is behind all of this!!! :nono:   :eh: :eh: :soap: :soap:   :para: :para: :hm: :hm: :sofa: :sofa: :shoot: :shoot: :stop: :stop: :cussing: :cussing: :shock2: :shock2: :brick: :brick: :wth: :wth: :bs: :bs:
Me too ! I just talk to Monarch about 1 hour ago, and they told me that, they din't have any of those new release processors yet, and they haven't sold it or shipped to anybody, so I don't know who is the liar ? waynesnyder ? or Monarch ? :dammit: if Waynesnyder really have that San-Diego, I will be happy for him :toast:  But I will call back Monarch and I will tell them what I think about they service, and they are just a punch of liars :slapass: :frag: :wierd: :shoot: : So ! Waynesnyder, can you post a screenshot of your 3700 please ? :hm:Quote:

I preordered pretty quick once I knew what I was getting, plus I have order hardware from Monarch before. Loyal customer?
Yeah overclockers.co.uk arnt the best of sites, but their price for a 3800 is cheaper than the pre-order price on the only other UK site I know of to have mention of venice:
http://www.cpucityshop.co.uk/product...90b92381e5e290
We get ripped bad in this country for components, especialy 'hard to find speciality' products..... :slap:
Overclockers probably only have 5 in stock, but then know that if they put up the 'in stock' sign they will get hundereds of pre-orders because people think they have a full shippment..... :stick:
i still don't believe you, more proof please. if monarch has cpus and holding them as bait then i will cancel my pre-order with them for doing this to us loyal customers too.
Anyone able to test one out yet??
any word on the 4000's yet?
I'm guessing everyone got this email:

Thank you for your Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego Core Pre-Order! We wanted to update you on the status of these processors. The shipping date has recently changed, and we are currently expecting a full shipment of these processors (As well as all of the OEM Revision E chips) towards the end of next week. We have more than enough of these chips coming in to cover our existing pre-orders, plus more, so please do not worry if your order will be included in this first batch as it will be. The date MAY change, and our website will be updated as such, but at this point we do not expect it to. Once the chips are received, your order will ship promptly. If you have any further questions, please email order@monarchcomputer.com. Thank you, Joe F. Monarch Computer
