Just want to thank everyone in this thread. I put a e6600 together Fri night based on the infomation here. No problems at all, very stable.
E6600@3.2g, 1.4v, 52c load, 356fsb
AW9D-Max, MCH@1.55v
SuperTalent DDR800@2.2v 4-4-3-8
This thing is putting out Seti WU's twice as fast as my Opty165@2.42g..
Waiting on my UFO-U2 to get here. Should get it higher with water...
PA120.3
Apogee
MCW30
DD Tyee
MCP355/Alphacooltop.

Did you reboot? Also, what version of Vista are you running? Actually, it seems ur version of UGuru is different from mine. I just run the installation straight from the CD and mine has no LED Effect Control.Quote:

Do you have voltage monitoring and all the other settings enabled in the bios? Dunno, but if you haven't you may wanna try that first.Quote:

And i can use 4:5 ram ratio with ram speed 438 or lower after that it's fail fail fail, 1:1 works luckily and i can use tighter timings :) did a quick try with 8x400 and result was: FREEZE but i was using 4:5...now started little bit lower and atm orthos is running 9x385 and ram is 1:1. i'm pretty sure i can't hit 4ghz with this cpu without much higher vcore so now my goal is to at least get my ram speed where it should be and that is 450mhz and that's only stock speed these sticks should do 500mhz with no problem.(wow long post..)
oh yeah what was the speed range where ppl had problems, 395-410 or something?
I have exactly the same situation. Easy until 3.4GHz, hungry after 3.5GHz. Orthos stability comes with VCore way up while Vmch increase doesn't help so much.Quote:

I tried that too but nothing seamed to happen for some seconds and then I had a restart again.Has anyone else the same problem?I have 2X7800GTXs if it has something to do.I also find strange that even with watercooled chipset I can run pi @441fsb with 1.8(real)vmch but not with 1.83/1.85....Quote:

This is something that goes unexplained, its not the SLI causing the problem its the board, On the Asus P5W DH it was in bios and could be adjusted with out lock up.Quote:
