Must import from newegg! LOL.
@ragnarok: shouldn't the heatpipes of the NH-C12P be facing to the rear?
Cause i want the cooler to cool the mobo mosfet cooler below. :)
you will love the 9800GTX+ I thinks it is better than the GTX 260
A 260GTX is actually better than a 9800GTX+. :)
maybe i will go siao again and change to 260GTX.
Hey i change from a HD3870 to 8800GTS 512MB to 9800GTX+ in less than a week! Haha
I have :p:
http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/....cgi?q=mushkin
But very few kits and stores.
Dude that's some value DDR2 and SODIMM which no one cares about here LOL. It's probably not even Mushkin DDR2 and just Gamedude being Gamedude [crap]
I put a pulse in my new beast today and initial results are looking very good:

Yeah Brisbane is way to dusty dude, even with a case but I think Santa should get you an air compressor this December :D
oh gosh eagle you gotta clean your zalman!!
its so dusty!
btw y do u need fans for ur RAM
as far as i know, RAM isnt hot at all
Rule of thumb : 2V and over = fan on ram.
Well Im testing the OC potential of the RAM at the moment and I think the cooler will help, I took the DDR MHz from (stock) 666-776 to generate some baseline data:

With the new card...

Yet to tidy up the cables...
ragnarok95, You should put those rams in to dual channel..
i don't think they would fit lol
ragnarok95: If you turn the cpu heatsink 180 degrees then would it be possible to use the other ram slots?
They should if he turns the cpu heatsink around.
My case has a dust filter as well. It still gets really dusty
I just go without dust filters. I like the extra airflow and the dust can be dealt with by my air compressor.
I'm going to have to buy an air compressor this holidays lol. Dust must die... DIE!
Here some pictures of my computer now I have CF :D

Sounds great but for crying out loud, get rid of all that dust or else you may end up frying it, dust and static electricity is a bad combination.
PS: don’t do like MomijiTMO now by putting it up until Christmas either :D
Nice system you got there, this picture really shows it off in a nice way too
Thx its the best i'v ever taken :D
That is a very nice air cooled rig. 10/10
yup MSI boards get dual channel if you put them side by side
I got bored on those water hoses in my case and moved back to air cooling.. :)
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2..._4462small.jpg
@Nazu: your avatar also speaks of Dual Channel
Im so happy i got rid of all the noctua P12s in my rig. Even the noctua C12P heatsink had a Scythe minebea mid on it.
Just got these...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...5/P1040277.jpg
Beside the minebea low...these are the other fans running in my rig now...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...5/P1040279.jpg
My fan config in my rig:
Intake: Minebea Low to cool the Hdd.
Mid Intake: Minebea Mid to cool my 9800GTX+.
PCI exhaust: Minebea Low to take out the warm air near the pci area, mostly produce by the graphic card.
CPU cooling: Minebea Mid on a noctua C12P heatsink.
Exhaust: Scythe KamaFlex.
crazydiamond what case is that?
added some carbon fiber to the rig :D

I realise that is does indeed look dusty but that is actually tarnishing of the Cooper as I boiled the HS before it went onto the new build to remove all dust and grease build up but sadly realised I had no White Vinegar 1/2 way through and the cooper has lost it's shine.
crazydiamond : Great cuts for the window :)
thanks, it was my first case mod... i think it turned out pretty well!
Oh, didn't see that.
Ooooh....it is cute, isn't it :D

I love your photography skills tommy hewitt!!!!
You can make the most ordinary thing look so great!
Keep up the good work! :)
Just thought I'd post up some images of this aircooled system I built a couple of days ago.
Quite impressed with the Lian Li PC8... some nice tweeks making it better than the older PC7.
Those are also the Yate Loon red LED fans in there by the way, nice & quiet.
The graphics card is a Gainward 4850 with dual slot cooler... if anyone is interested ;)

Nice HS cooler and system looks sexy, what is it?
Nice build Om3n, very clean.
Om3n, Awesome cable management!
Tommy, Thats nice :P pure :banana::banana::banana:.
Om3n, Very nice config, everything perfect :D
You don’t get to see such clean systems all too often so this was refreshing, hmmm…you’ve just put many other systems to “shame” Om3n; mine included.
Tommy_Hewitt, What is second cooler in your last post? Btw great photos :)
Xigmatek Battle Axe ;)
I managed the second one but the first one escapes me, could you please shed some light on as to which cooler that is? (besides the obvious one of being a VGA cooler) thank you.
Auras Fridge? I guess you mean this one.
nice pics Tommy! seems like you're off to doing a vidcard cooler review :D
TRAD, Musashi, Accelero...hmm your review will rule!
Im more interested in the review rather then the photo. :(
I'm still waiting for my T-Rad² and my case........
Hey guys I have a question for those across the sea
is www.pcsilent.de a reputable site to purchase from?
I'm looking for a European computer mods store that ships to the USA. If you have any recommendations please feel free to list :D
I know this is the wrong section to ask in but it's just that majority of those across the sea seem to be gathered up in this thread for some reason
My upcoming HTPC is almost done, it's just missing 2 things. The case I can get anywhere and specific fans not found in the USA that will make a huge difference in looks :ROTF:. I can't wait until I can post pictures of it when it's done.
Back to air :)

sweet :)
Thx :)
fatguy1992, are those back fans noiseblockers?
I belive those are Aerocool's Turbine fans with the stub removed
http://www.aerocool.us/accessory/Tur...an-feature.htm
Ok Tommy, ok. :p:
I'm sorry, but it's too beautiful to hide ^^
No doubt, thanks for posting it. I think we need a shorter version of "Nice pictures Tommy", maybe even just a letter.
For example: z.
Ok everybody, from now on when you want to say that Tommy's pictures are nice, just type "z". We need to help Fugger save some bandwidth. :p:
I'm kidding, you know how we all feel about your pictures, keep doing what you do well.

Wow, everyone has some nice rigs here. BTW, Fatguy, what's the device at the bottom left in this pic:
http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/m...yComputer6.jpg
It looks like the Scythe Fan Bay controller but how did you get it there? Shouldn't it be in the front?
Cool Vibrations, thats Scythe Kaze Master fan controller.
Upgraded the pc recently, went from a S939 4400+, 2 x 1GB OCZ Plats and DFI CFX3200DR to a Q9550, Asus Rampage Formula and 2 x 2GB Corsair Dominator PC8500.

Fitted a Scythe Musashi cooler to the 4870 and it's lost all it's rigidity now. I've pulled the GPu power wires through into the case a bit more now so the prop up the card and make it look a bit more level and less bent.

My case was a Treetop Commando, but in the last week, i recieved the best new in last time, i become a reviewer, for a southamerican FORUM, and then i have to " reorder " mi desktop :P.
Found a gem in my local hardware store....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...5/P1040293.jpg
Scythe Kaze White....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...5/P1040295.jpg
That looks awesome. What kind of bearing did they put in the Kaze-white?
@TOOL_CHILE: seems like you hated the Powercolor sticker huh :D
@ragnarok95: nice find on the Kaze-White...it also has leds? hows the airflow?
D=
Wahhaha I want some white fans but they are no where to be seen in Aus =p.
I wish my local hardware store had some Scythes. Nice find on the Kaze-white. :)
For the Kaze White, it would not be selling in the US.
Apparently its a discontinued model from Scythe, and the Distro here have some extra stocks. After which it would no longer be brought in.
Sad thing is, its a fan that has both performance and bling. But its so rare :(
Those in Europe should be able to get them
