Errr, you can alwats order a 3800+ venice from the UK if you want it quickly?..
First post here.
Venices will be available saturday in Japan... so as XP x64...
i was checking akiba pc hotline and they showed pictures of shops selling venice and diego and also winxp x64 ed. anyone got connection in japan? now is a good time to be a foreigner buying american goods since the dollar is so weak.
Hey guys, I just got off the phone one of the supervisor at Monarch and he said that they only change the date to play it safe. However he knows for sure that AMD has already shipped the OEM cpu's to them and is on the plane right now. He said he's been with the company for 14 years and he guarantee that they'll be the first to get it.
This is regarding the 4000+

For anyone wanting to buy it from there, it would be $469.33 shipped to the US.. Not exactly a deal for us in the US..Quote:

Thank you for your Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego Core Pre-Order! We wanted to update you on the status of these processors.
The shipping date has recently changed, and we are currently expecting a full shipment of these processors (As well as all of the OEM Revision E chips) towards the end of next week. We have more than enough of these chips coming in to cover our existing pre-orders, plus more, so please do not worry if your order will be included in this first batch as it will be. The date MAY change, and our website will be updated as such, but at this point we do not expect it to.
Once the chips are received, your order will ship promptly. If you have any further questions, please email order@monarchcomputer.com.
Thank you,
Joe F.

They should've called these chip's core the "San Fransisco" instead of San Diego...because this is getting really F'n Gay
Yes I know- welcome to rip-off Britain! That's why I'll be getting my FX 57 from your side of the pond :)Quote:
