the p4p800-e is the best bios i can run the memory at 3:4 and adjust the vcore upto 1.6 but still never beat 28s.

Could you post some pics of the socket-area?Quote:

Still on stock cooler. With better air cooling and possibly a tad more volts 2.7+Ghz is do-able.
I'm gonna make a push for 6K mem bandwidth. Also of interest,...I didn't see any improvement in superpi times between 210x9 with mem 4:5 ratio vs. 252x10 mem at 1:1 (both at 2.52Ghz). Seems like with P4, a huge increase in bus speed, regardless of mem speed will make a big difference.
I think these 256mb TCCD sticks are hurting my superpi....I'm going to try some other sticks soon.

Somebody who testin' Celeron-M with Ct-479 ?
In this very thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...223#post848223 :stick:Quote:

@macci
can you test Aquamark with your Pentium M @3,3 ? -> cpu-score is interesting to know.
i have one problem
my system
ct-479
p4c800-e deluxe bios:1021 beta 007
mushkin 3500 level 2 2x512mb
P-M 730
whit pat->on und performance mode->turbo
I come to stable 207fsb
whit pat->on und performance mode->auto
I come to stable >245fsb
I lose opposite performace mode >turbo well 500mb in everest read bench
is that bios problem or my bh'5 ram problem whit turbo?
That is quite nice! I guess the folks who declared the P4GD1 a lousy motherboard were wrong! :)Quote:

Stock cooling on all. I have done a VCORE-mod on the board and running the OCZ Booster for my RAM. Did a 3DMark-run at 10x260 1:1 with 3,6V VMEM, trying 10x265 now. :)Quote:

w/p4c and better mem speed, hopefully soon jap territory :P
nice ln2 run there :toast:
how does 1:1 work for you? should be clock to clock a bit faster :)
Thanx macci.
My ram speed wasnt all that great on these (248)
and I need to work on my teaking a little more too.
On my best 1:1 with same tweaker settings as my above posted runs, I scored 22.34 1mpi at 263.84x13(3419) 5-2-2-2, tras 70, rms 7.8, and dram lat par 00.
So 310.4x11 with 5/4 divider verse 263.83x13 with 1:1 divider was about 1/10 second faster for 1:1. I'm sure from your 3d benching :toast: , you see a bigger margin though.
I think it's a pretty close tradeoff between fsb speed / ram speed paired with cpu ghz.
Did not make a difference for me between -145c and -180c .That chip just didnt want to go any faster. I was able to match my scores again last night using only -145c. If my system crashed during runs below -150c, I had to wait for the temps to rise back to 150c before the pc could reboot and the resum benching again. Very weird.
Damn nice! This is pure madness... Different sounds are heard from the Intel Camp:Quote:

Can't wait to take her to some 50C colder temps :hehe:
Thats perfectly normal - for LN2 benching that is :D Its a biotch when it wont work. But also overclocking at its best when stuff is doing like it should w/ LN2 :DQuote:

can anyone help me on this?

Hehe.. really nice job man :toast: It took me 3350 on this p4p to get 22.8sec 1m.Quote:

I'm the lucky one to have a Dothan Sonoma.... I'm 2 impressed with his power...
Never thought that Pentium M was just "the" real deal!!!
Dothan power! I'm impressed!
The super pi OMG! beat's A64 clock per clock!
Well, it seems that at the maximum bios setting voltage (1.6) and stock cooler, my 730 tops out at 2.64 - 2.65Ghz. I was getting 28sec superpi at 260x10,... 264x10 wasn't enough to push me to 27. Most likely beacuse of the 2.5-3-3-7 mem timings. I really need to go with 2-2-2-5 even if I have to keep ram speeds down around 220-225Mhz.
Just for grins, I tried a higher fsb an lower mult. The mem divider on my board only seems to work for higher than bus speeds so I had to keep the memory at a 1:1 ratio.
With the 1:1 , the highest I got was this 280..........limited by memory I believe.
Maybe 500-700mb/s lower than a P4C / 865 combo @ 280fsb.
Hello all, I was thinking of this for sometime, what about a 735 Dothan and the AOpen i915GMm-HSF? I needed a platform where I can retain the abvility to use DDR2 and my PCI-ex graphic card? Of course the board is $320 which is :banana::banana::banana::banana:ographic
Only drawback with that combo is that you most likely won't reach high fsb.
