1000th post of the worklog---woohaaah. :D

It's just too cool that that happened by sheer chance.

And the journey continues.. hope that I haven't lost too many of you who were around in the beginning. Thanks to all who continue to follow and especially to those of you who have stuck with the project since the beginning. :up:

Did you enjoy it, illidan? I've received mixed reviews on it. Some have complained about the music (saying it was too "dramatic") and the slow panning shots while saying there wasn't a lot of content.

Personally, I loved the music as I'm trying to make this a dramatic, eye-popping build, so I thought it meshed well with the theme and what I'm trying to do. It was my first go at video, so I expect future works to be much better. Most of the clips were taken a few months ago, so I had a lot less done / parts to show.

Thanks, vistageek. Yes, I take them in raw and then convert to jpeg once on my PC. How's your project coming along? The one that we had talked about before?

Project HAF is almost finished, will be in about a week.

And as for the one I have been planning since we talked...let us say..it has matured into something very awesome.

It shall not receive its first breath of life until HAF is finished.

By now, I would be up to 20.... At least....

Done tempting you, keep up the extraordinary work. I still love how you cleaned up those seams a few pages back... It was on the mobo tray where it met the drive suspension vortex...

I've considered asking you to build cases with me. I'm tryna make the next Soldam Windy :p:

yes. for an opening need to be a little dramatic :) (say like trailer) looks and sound great.

I'm visualizing him re-doing a lot of his shrink tubing ends because their not even. Being the perfectionist he is, it's gonna be awhile. ; )

My parents bought a condo at the beach a few months back, so I thought that I would swing by to check it out. Weather was great, but the water is still a little too chilly to swim in.

Ok, cool story time.

My father has someone who works for him who is in sales. This guy, and two of his friends, unearthed a sunken ship just off the coast of where our condo is 120 feet down. In this ship they found/collected 3 pots of gold coins which they believe are worth around 3 million in value.

I couldn't help but think of Flint when I heard this--LOL.

Sgrios - welcome to the project! Thank you very much for the compliments.

Scully.. hmm.. to be honest I'm not sure of her exact breed. She was a stray that my parents took in when she was around 5 years old, and I don't know that we ever looked into it.

Not a lot of progress has happened with the build in the last week as I've been quite busy at my job. In the interim, here's another sleeving pic.

I've been folowing this build for quite awhile now, but I don't think I've posted. Very nice though, I'm gonna have to steal a few idea's for my own build hopefully (looking for a used TJ07 preferably)

You can give up that idea. This is a hobby/expense period. It took me over a month to sell a previous case that I made and I only got the money out of it to cover the cost of materials that I put into it sans time and labor.

Maybe somebody can enlighten me regarding how connecting 2 videocard blocks in parallel works. It appears that the top card acts as an input, but I really don't see how the water circulates through the top waterblock - it will flow straight down through the SLI fitting into the second block, where it will circulate and exit the videocard. Unless there exists significant back-pressure at the exit of the bottom waterblock to force the water up the SLI fitting into the top waterblock, I just can't see how the top videocard is being cooled.

Once the pressure has equalized, the flow will be equalized between each tube.
