my stepping is LBBLE 0424BPDW
the highest i can get it to boot at is 295x9 no matter what the voltage though :(
was hoping for 2.7 but im happy with 2.6 :D

Perry is right, if it cant get through SPi, its just not a stable rig.

I'm using stock cooling and I think it's a good score. After I complete the burn-in, I hope to reach 3 Ghz mark.

Xenon you will get the 2,9gig but never 3 Gig. A Burnin will never bring you 130Mhz, maybe 30mhz.

Yes, but I don't pretend to obtain 100 Mhz just after the burn-in.
But someday I will reach that mark with aircooling. I feel that my A64 still have some mhz to be taken... :D

damn shame about 2600mhz,
even my cpu is beter :p 0528gpfw (2800mhz last time)
but it just loves the vcore to much :(

LBBLE should be quite good.

LBBLE 0521APIW = bad prosessor, 2.5GHz need 1.6-1.65v and 2.8 need 1.8volt..

but i run this prosessor 1.31 @ 2.2GHz, so they aare good to run undervolting :)

I ordered a 3200+ venice ( dfi nf4sli and a pow 6800gs card for xmas) for my sister.
I am wondering about which stepping is best for oc ,and E4 is 3800+ x2 whith 1 core ?

i got a 3200+ venice with : LBBWE 0551 BPQW is it a good one?

I've got a Venice 3000+ LBBLE 0517 EPAW and i managed to get 2.85Ghz (315x9) with 1gb set of GSkill PC4400LE. On a pos eVGA board with 1.5vcore and 2.8vdimm with timmings @ 2.5-3-3-7. Got it to load windows and run a few rounds of Q4. No benchies tho :brick:

Waiting on a new DFI Expert mobo to see what i can do again ;)

i need some assistance plz. :)

i just both an 3200+ Venice and i was thinking what's the best way to burn the processor in?
should i just oc it to the limit (without errors, SPI stable, etc) with default vcore and perform some prime95 for some days.. and then increase voltage and frequency?
or should i take to the very limit (not even SPI stable) and perform the same treatment.. with cpuToast or similar program?

what's the best way to improve your A64 oc hability? :)
