I know Dumo, I've seen your sandra scores before ;) . Hell, I can even beat my own BH-5 score with my TCCD @ 290, but once again, sandra is a synthetic bench:Quote:

@s7e9h3n...Thats my point, venice needs low vcore to scale as high as claw with 1.75/1.8V(my stock Vapo already sweat profusely) :toast: Less heat load for benching and gaming :D Hopefully san diegos will do the same..
No mention of the estimated dates on cpucity though, on http://www.softjam.co.uk/cgi-bin/ref...r_Upgrade.htmlQuote:

alright, i finally did it for the 3rd time. i finally placed a pre-order for an oem 3500+ rev. E with 3yr. warranty. i hope it'll be a good overclocker or it'll go back to monarch :). the wife is going to divorce for this :). anyone else pre-ordered a 3500+, i hope it will ship on the 27th as stated by monarch.
Very nice and done with a boat load of processes running in the background so there's room left.Quote:

Thats because of the ras-cas4 that this TCCD was running at. I plan to keep it as a 3, 300x9 ras-cas3 would probably edge out 337x8 ras-cas4 or at least be equal but 300x9 is much more doable. I have heard of rams doing 310-325 at ras-cas3 but youd need some cherrypicked gems, a godly ondie controller and even that I dont count on it being 100% stable. I cant and wont use bh5 or vx because mainly my mobo only gives 2.7v and I want a stable 24/7 rig that runs cool and without insane volts. bh5 or vx may be good benching ram but in my humble opinion, nothing beats tccd for 24/7 operation. I would like 2x512mb sticks that could clock really high at ras-cas3, even 300x9 for 24/7 would be really sweet with a 3000+ venice
may I ask what the cheapest TCCD ram is? OCZ has value VX for only $65 and I was going to get it. But if TCCD is better.......

Ive seen this stuff, its very near its limit, some couldnt even hit 280 with this gskill at ras-cas3! They also have the LA but its ras-cas4 however the 2x256mb will run t1 and ras-cas3 to a point, usually just over 300MHz. Too bad gskill has been discountinued months ago, I bought the last ones I saw
just got word from Monarch about the 3 year warranty:
I'm definately getting the 3 year option.Quote:
The 3-year warranty on the AMD OEM chips is through Monarch Computer.
Thank you,

Yeah I'd like to know how you plan on ruining your proc intentionally without them noticing... :slapass:

Well short of running 3v to it there arent many ways that are non physical...
I don't see any problems with that ideaQuote:

Scroll up a bit; I posted the email they sent me saying the 3 year was through them.
BTW the ship date for the 3500+ is now the 29th? I thought it was the 27th?
I have a feeling it is going to keep getting pushed back. Thats why I am ordering a 3200+ winnie this weekend, for real

No way monarch would :owned: like that... Would they? :stick:
It was the 27th... The 4000 that was suppose to ship tommorow is now also set for the 29th.

a. amd just announced dual core this and that
b. turion are starting to ship
c. opteron anniversary is today(all amd employees are busy partying)
d. why release the venice/diego when there are more important things to do
they'll release the venice/diego during the quiet period, that way it will be more significant. it also help to clear winnie inventory too, so buy up winnies people :). i hate to keep cancelling my pre-order, but if the 29th is pushed back to may then i'm cancelling for good and wait till venice is more readily available. who's with me? :).
