Great info Vapor.. Thanks for posting them.
So my Nickel+Copper DD480 block was a pretty decent choice afterall.. exiting. Runs great for me.. Never seen a temp over 60C, even with OC/OV

Vapor, the gpu/flow rate graphs shows the difference between the nickel version and standard version of the DD block as being essentially identical. While the VRM graph shows the nickel one performing considerably better, is this a result of the nickel or just the all-tim treatment?
Just asked skinnee and he says it's the same block, just a mislabeling. The TIM (instead of thermal pad) was the reason for greatly improved performance in the "All-TIM" version while the .01GPM difference in flowrate is within repeatability ratings for the King flowmeter and was just what the flowmeter happened to read that time.
Use Afterburner Extreme :) Behaves a little differently though once you go past 1138mV...gets a little jumpy/erratic in what it actually loads at.
regular afterburner will go higher, just have to mod the BIOS. :D
what he said. :D
I think hell froze over... a Danger Den GPU block giving good VRM temps? Granted it took a switch from thermal tape to TIM to make it better than the others, but how is that possible?
Awsome review! glad i got the DD block! Vapor, and skinnee thank you so much for the test! And who cares about that score stuff in LN2/overclocking or w/e its called...is that crap really that popular!? doesn't change my appreciation for all that hard work you guys did on this review. :yepp:
Wow, Skinnee banned? That's like...dude, that's like...I don't even know!
Got three Koolance blocks coming my way, the LEDs did it.
The VRM temps are idle temps right? Cause there is no way in hell they run that cool under full load. Fire up Furmark and leave your hand on the back of the card near where the mofsets are and you could get burned.
OT but skinnee...
thank you very much for all the great information and work you have done for noobs like myself... your work and the work of many others that have contributed to this art we call hobby is greatly appreciated...Quote:

Why is Skinnee banned? Can someone tell me what's going on?
nice.
so ek for the win overall..again
He is involved in this ***** link
hmm weighted the whole thing
overall dd but with 7 on gpu.. which actually is more important the weights overall dont count
overall ek and koolance is best
but for more temp performance aqua block is the best
For bling, Koolance with the LEDs. :D
(You can choose your own color.)
They're load temps :)

Glad I bought the aquacomputer blocks. They should be here in two or three days, can't wait. Not too happy with flow, but at least they perform well!
AC block is a solid performer for GPU only loops. Not very unexpected looking at the design. I would go DD or EK for mixed loops though.
*******WOOT POST # 1000************** LOL
I agree :) I really would have been happy with any of the blocks except the Bitspower. I also stayed away from the DD blocks because of how extremely heavy they are. They weigh a metric s**t ton in comparison to the others(well double the weight )!!!! So I stayed away from them and went with the Koolance blocks. They look bad ass and perform excellent!!!
Damn... Just missed 1000th post... Well 1001 isnot bad also :)
Good info there... and pretty tight results on most of the blocks.
