Obviously if you want to test max speed, set the primaries to 5-5-5-15 at 5-5-4-12 you are going to need more voltage for any given speed. Nice board & ram though.

cryptik, were you refering to me? if so i did loosen up the timings to try and achieve a higher memory oc.thanks for the tip though, always appreciate your guidance.heres my latest.http://i43.tinypic.com/synx4n.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/3476wq9.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/10nhk5x.jpg
sorry double post, just realized that last one was with pl9 so i redid it with pl 8 and got a little better pi scores.

here is a higher clock 4424 but had to go pl9.

Yea I was referring to you just thought you were going to keep pushing it with tighter primaries, and btw you're doing better than me at all this.
You have some really nice bandwidth and SPI runs there, good work. Just curious what vMCH it took to keep 549FSB/659MHz & 553FSB/663.6 MHz stable?
cryptik, thanks.but i dont think its me ,most likely the board .1.38 vMCH,but once i go above 547fsb pl8 it will boot and run SPI 32 and complete it run prime95 for an hour then when i reboot, oc failure no boot.but pl9 no problem
Nice that's quite low (1.38v). My board does that sometimes too when pushed hard, I don't know if it's heat related or not.
How hot does the NB heatsink get when you're benching/running orthos at those settings?
not really sure the exact temp.seems cool to the touch. whenever im pushing it i use the airconditioned air(8c-10c) directly into the intake mb sensor reads 17c.and ive got the 4500 rpm fan sticky taped to the memory, that adds some extra air over nb.when im not pushing it and turn the airconditioner off mb sensor goes to about 27c 30c .so to answer your question, not real sure
Nice clocks Raja, is it the board or the sweet xtreem team , very good job. Im playing with my ud3p ddr3 version, dont think its quite as good as the ddr2 version, needs more bios work, heck i cant even crack 11,000k in everest yet, close but not there yet. Does that setup pass memtest ? im curious.
mike, probally both, these teams are pretty awesome.i keep pushing and they accept it.the way it should be.
I told you very sweet memory kit, have to watch it tho they get very hot. But they rock for sure. Thats a very nice setup with the ud3p and xteam.
so far ive only put 2.3vdimm.i think they should be fine with the cooling im using.pretty cold in the case, and pretty cold feet(next to the computer).here are temps with air conditioner on and no stressing (idle).http://i44.tinypic.com/9qh1mv.jpghttp://i35.tinypic.com/2znpgti.jpg
Oh yeah you wont have any problems , nice setup.
well i finally got it boot properly with pl8,i had to raise vMCH to 1.40 and vdimm to 2.34.i tightend the timings again and got my best SPI 32m time yet.http://i42.tinypic.com/of3tps.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/1zx7f9e.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/35m4n03.jpg
Nice results Raja, is that setup totally stable ? and pass memtest ?
mike, i only ran prime for 1/2 hour MemTest in windows for abou 20 minutes without errors.i,ll stress it more but so far it seems pretty stable.my main concern was that it be able to boot up after restart without OC failure.(red screen)in bios,so far so good booted three times in a row.

UPDATE- i got it to ddr1400,unless this divider is bugged.

@neo mike, do you know if these teams are D9 GMH or GKX? you probally told me already,i just cant remember.thanks.anyways heres my best SPI 32m run to date.http://i43.tinypic.com/2s60ymc.jpghttp://i42.tinypic.com/2udx66c.jpg
@ radaja - the TG 1300 C6's are supposed to be GKX, nice run btw, thats massive FSB & ram speed for a 32M run.
I managed to do a couple more runs, and got a bit more efficiency out of it.

Hey Raja, not sure about what chips, but there awesome chips, nice runs guys.
Improving my runs with my E7400 a bit..a little tricky to work around the FSB issues with this mobo though
Read test at 4-4-4-13 :D

cryptik, niceruns there. that last ones everest bench is really great, the write and copy scores are almost the same as mine doing 550fsb. @clp320.nice
Thanks radaja, I was pretty happy to keep that stable, it took a bit of ram skew tweaking. I think I'm at the boards limit there, I very much doubt I can keep up with your board, I've tried 550 FSB/660 MHz a few times and have never made it past the initial value.
sorry to hear that.you should really try to pick up one of these UD3 series boards.i bet you could really get some great performance out of it with your skills.by the way how did you get that extra efficiency out of the maxII,(everest write and copy)?
Hi all!
I hope you guys can help me here...
I own a amazing kit of Mushkin 2G 8500 5-5-4-12, ( Micron ), and i order, 2x2G Mushkin 8500 5-5-5-15 ( not Micron i think )...
Question:
Can i use both kitts, on the same Board? ( Pk5-E Wi-Fi )?
Please, my aplogies, if im not posting in the correct tread!
Merry Christmas!
Hey Cypik, i feel your pain, like you said in the other thread, get the rampage extreme board. Im having the worst luck trying to find a board i want, i had a burned out ud3p, now i have ddr3 version, its decent, but not good enough. Whats a guy to do to satisfy his overclocking needs:shrug:, im getting tired of trying motherboards.
Well the everest scores are close to what I get normally at the same settings, but I enabled static read control and dram read training and has Ai Clock Twister set to moderate, which is hard to keep stable at that FSB & ram speed, hence the 1.5 vNB. However I used the large system cache OS tweak to get better efficiency out of my SPI32M runs. Eva2000 suggested it to me, so I gave it a go and it dropped my times quite a bit.
That may or may not work, you will have to run the 2GB kit at the rated settings for it and see if the D9 kit will play nice with it. It's certainly not optimal though, and may not work at all. You'll just have to give it a go. You'll also need to increase the vNB to keep it stable as 6GB will put more strain on the MCH than just the 2 x 1GB kit you have been using.
I am very close to getting one to be honest. I own two DDR2 boards, and I really think if I'm going to spend more cash I want a 775 board that is as good as I can get my hands on, and I really want to try the RE, I have had my eye on them for awhile. I would like to try DDR3 too, I've never had the chance to really play with it. I will still keep my M2F & P5Q-Deluxe though, I love DDR2 D9's too much to give them up :D
EDIT - even though its chrsitmas, I am still havng a lot of trouble justifying the expense of the RE. I haven't bought myself anything yet and I'm trying to convince myself that an RE and a simple 2GB ram kit would be a suitable present.
