She is slightly autistic, I talk to her as if she is an adult and we have a "connection" in some way that I can't describe but it's there.
Sweet kid but it kills your heart to see her struggle at times.
You can see the concentration that is going on in her mind to communicate normally.
Sorry to hear that, but if it's something like Asperger's or high functioning autism, the long term outlook is good. The fact that she even wants to communicate is a great sign. Children can be a great form of exercise. Take it easy.Quote:
